@mikeshaw44 Mike no offense man but these guys are way beyond the funk and rolls. I've gone with both of them in High School and at the NCAA level. When you get to the NCAA you will see very few wrestlers who can get away with that kind of junk at such a high level of wrestling. Trust me they know all of it the problem is that against great wrestlers like Metcalf and Palmer you 1 out of a 1000 times you might get lucky.

i used to walk around 160-190 in high school and drop to 125 ,in college id drop to 126 but it was much harder then.Most of the weight is water and just plain bad weight.After some time there is not much left inside your stomache to add to the weight and its pretty much water and fruit and spaghetti weight which is much easier to cut.After the initial weight cutting, you normally cut around ten pounds, then its basically muscle and some natural fat,mine was 4% and it sucks bad but fun.

Excellent match, I think Metcalf would probably win a rematch. Palmer's height and strength are a tough matchup for him though.

Great match! Two fantastic wrestlers. Palmer looks much improved. Now that his conditioning is better, Palmer looks to have the advantage (considering that both are roughly equal in technique). My prediction is that Palmer wins at the NCAAs...but it will be close!

New rule this year I believe. If legs are in and the bottom wrestler stands up then it is stalling on the bottom man. If the bottom man stands up and then legs are thrown in, it is stalling on the top man. It is to prevent the bottom man from trying to get an automatic stalemate.
