Geländewagen vs. SUV und dann der SUV noch ohne Geländepaket... Ist doch völlig klar, dass der Touareg auf der Straße besser ist und der Disco 3 im Gelände ganz andere Wege geht. Das ist bei den Nachfolgern nicht anders. Ein Toyota Land Cruiser J12/J15 ist der passende Konkurrent für einen Disco, oder ein Mitsubishi Pajero 4. Bei den Oberklasse SUV ist der Touareg ja der beste Geländegänger mitsamt dem ganz neuen ML.

@bujarhaskaj1 Klar. 10 Jahre jünger in der Entwicklung und 100 PS stärker. Ich kann genauso gut sagen, dass ein Cayenne Turbo den X5 40d stehen lässt. Ist genauso klar. Und im Gelände fahren diese beiden einem X5 weg. Das haben schon genug Tests bewiesen. Also keine Äpfel mit Birnen vergleichen.

Außerdem ist das eine völlig andere Klasse als Touareg und LR Disco. Richtig ist nur, dass sich BMW die Bezeichnung M5 d und 550d gesichert hat, weil im Frühjahr ein R6-Triturbo Diesel in 5er, 6er und zum7er Facelift kommen sollen. Wenn man keine Ahnung hat...

I had the last years 2 Touareg both with all offroad gadgets from the VW-Pricelist ,the first Touareg was after 10 months away the second after 18 months ,both of them Lemon Cars at its finest .

The last 4 years i own a Discovery 3 with all that stuff that i had in the Touaregs ,and yes its the better car Offroad anyway and even onroad its more comfortable ,and its have even more loadingcapacity .

Touareg "Individual" package has street tires. Discovery has proper multi-terrain tires. With the same tires they would perform off-road almost identically. The advantage might even go to the Touareg because it is lighter and had better ground clearance.

@firewal Also luxus schon aber mit der Hinterachssperre und gescheiten Geländereifen ist der Touareg richtig gut im Gelände. Ich war in Russland und was die Kerle mit dem Touareg geschafft haben dass habe ich den nie zugetraut. Also es ist nur Frage der Ausstattung. Ich würde lieber anstatt dieser Individualausstattung einfach Hinterachssperre bestellen. :)
