Man, I still watch this just to keep myself humbled. It's hard to hate on a team that executes their game so flawlessly. This was truly an ass whooping. Good to know Michigan State came back the next year and beat a pretty good SEC team to (sorta, kinda) make up for this.

alabama went through michigan state like soggy spaghetti, alabama just demolished sparty and rung kirk cousins bell. for sparty its gotta hurt to have such a devastating end to a great season like that(technically one of the best in school history)

@louky264 Yeah alabama is amazing they always have a succesfull program, i cant wait for Michigan vs Alabama to start out the 2012 season hopefully michigan can pull off a big win. Go Blue!!!!

I am a State fan but at 1:35 if you saw #5 Johnny Adams celebrate when Bama got a 1st down and try to start a fight, its rediculous. It is kind of what he does. I dont hate him, hes good but hes a hot-head!!! Plus he did the SAME EXACT thing against Youngstown State!!

This is a perfect example of the broken system that college football is on. MSU was ranked 7 spots higher than Alabama... Seven! The Tide was clearly a much more powerful team. Oh well, let the scores show your true ranking I suppose.

Yeah this was a really bad day for sparty. They had a great year by MSU standards and they turned a lot of heads, but this was just an example of the sheer power of the SEC though. I had no expectations of a win going into this game, MSU played a really easy schedule last year with their toughest games being ND, Wisco and Iowa (only loss until this game). They weren't prepared for a team at this level, still proud of what they accomplished however and I think they're a program on the rise.

alabama was playing against a high school team it seemed like. my favorite quote you forgot to add it in. they said "folks it isnt that michigan st. is playing bad, its that the alabama team is just that good, they are a nationally championship calibre team"
