lol. i was almost thinking of throwing my psp away after a number of games didn't work but i saw this today and gave it a try. I just created a file named "new.txt" inside the game folder and presto! problem solved. God bless leedsunited12345

Actually, the game deletes the GAME Folder, if u just make A new folder called GAME it will work again. YOU DONT NEED TO FORMAT THE MEMORYSTICK, what the .txt file does is keep the game from deleting the GAME folder. Just make the folder again, and it will work.

hey guys i fixed this problem by putting a .txt file into my game folder but after a few days of playing, i noticed a problem of my rock band unplugged always hanging and after hanging it has this crackling sound inside my psp. the sound dissapears after i turn off my psp. PLEASE HELP ME!

you don't have to format your memory stick , i didn't , i just created the folder "GAME" in the directory "PSP" and created that notedpad file (new.txt) and it worked :D

you dont have to format the memory card, just create a new GAME folder in /PSP and itll work the same. but you do have to put the text file or it wont work

try downgrading your firmware, mine freezes ocassionaly but not often and I use 5.02 GEN-A

First of all ...pretty cool background music! ok so I did re-format my memory stick after it said:"no games on memory stick". it worked but after i played it, it again still says "no games on memory stick" after i exited on the game. so what do i do now?

you need to create a .txt file in the PSP/GAME folder. If you don't do that formating the memory stick doesn't make a difference

yes thats the problem BUT you need to put a foreign file into the GAME folder so it can't delete it

..OR just simply put a file in the \GAME\ folder. (maybe make it read-only, not sure).

Rock Band deleted the GAME folder if its empty, and the GAME folder is necessary to run isos. (formatting on a CFW creates the GAME folder)
