to start with, i am against any aggressive attitude towards cultures, nations, peoples. But yes, just the fact that the word "horon" is greek, indicates a lot. The word is still there, simply because the now "turks" of Pontos, were once rumi, who became turks, just because they were converted into moslims. Horon might be also Greek word but we use it in Turkish too. It is because Turkish and Greek population was living together in East Black Sea peacefuly. Is the oldest Turkish Horon oyunu and Turkey have 50 diffrent sytle horon oyunu.TURKS 5 THOUSAND YEARS Horon is dancing.Kemençe, baglama, drums, bags, zurna, pipe, tambourine These instruments are the Türks brought from came Central Asia.Bulgarian Türks and Pecenek Türks also plays a horon, this game is not engaging the Black Sea horon oyunu like? In Turkey no have good politicans so we cant stop these thief bandits Greeks :(

@EDANAiRoNY The dance Serra and Akcaabat was danced by the greek 1000 b. chr at black sea. This is a ancient greek dance. You cant deny it turk. Real turks are from Asia (Mongolia) Look at the peoples face you will see they arent turks. Many of you today turks of karadeniz had greek grandfather. You cant deny! The propaganda of your militäry country makes you feeling that you are turks. Horon greek Horos is danced 600 bchristus by the greeks. At this time they was not any turk birth in the world

@EDANAiRoNY you are so stupid! The oldest culture in this area on the black sea are the greeks. The pontus greek lived there since 800 b.chr. At this time there wasnt any turk in this area. The dance serra was danced by the ancient greeks, learn from jason and the argonauts! Turks came from asia. Real turks look different from people of black sea. Lyra (kecmece) was played year ago befor any turk was in the world. Many people from black sea are greeks but they dont know it!

@EDANAiRoNY First of all HORON is ancient greek word and mean dance, Second these dances have roots from ancient greek warriors and they are war dances,Third the people on the video are not turks,Fourth turkey have over 60 minorities and is the most mixed nation the real turks have mongol characteristics,Fifth turks killed and chased people from caucasus region and the people who left there made them muslims and turkized them.
