Whitney's version on the other hand is something i can relate to more since it is very human; she starts calm, much like Cece's version, but breaks down in the end because it's not that easy accepting the fact that you're gonna die. Her version touches my soul the more, even with all the strained and broken notes at the end - for what that do those matter when in the end you actually feel something? I've got to admit, when I heard nippy's version, I cried. A little.

I cry everytime I hear this version-the emotions are so raw and powerful and I miss my dad who died of cancer in 2002. I wish i could tell him how much i loved him. Whitney's version on the other hand is something i can relate to more since it is very human; she starts calm, much like Cece's version, but breaks down in the end because it's not that easy accepting the fact that you're gonna die. Her version touches my soul the more, even with all the strained and broken notes at the end - for what that do those matter when in the end you actually feel something? I've got to admit, when I heard nippy's version, I cried. A little.

The two different versions tell different stories. Cece's calm and collected version tells of someone who has already accepted death, and therefore there is no need to be too emotional - hence, the lack of runs and riffs which others think make her version boring.
