@fundreamer1 Yes it does, check in 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17, in the book of Revelation, there are 7 churches mentionned in the first 3 chapters, they disappear at the end of chapter 3, no mention of a church before chapter 19 because the Church, the EKKLESIA the bride of Christ is then in Heaven waiting to come down back to earth to reign with Him for a 1000 year.

The verses you pointed out do not say anyone will disappear, they say we will be changed and taken up. God promised us new bodies in heaven, why would he want our old ones? He also said that if we seen his face in our bodies, it would destroy us. No, I believe when God gathers our souls, our bodies will drop dead.
@fundreamer1 We know the bible says that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.we know that the raptures a "a mystery" somewhat. (1st Cor. 15). Probably safe to say our blood and clothes will be left behind and probably safe to say our soul & spirit will go up. The book says: "We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed". Perhaps our fleshly body will be changed to a spiritual body & not "left behind"? (just thinking out loud here so don't nobody get bent out of shape)

I did. December 24th, 1998 when I accepted Jesus to take control of my life. That's the best thing I could've ever done. What a huge difference he's made in my life. It's now "together". Thanks for your concern. I hope you'll get your life "together" too.

Each one of us must personally and individually accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior to be saved from eternal punishment for our sin (being bad). You think it's lame because even 2000 years after his death, you're still intimidated by his message and feel guilty because you know he's right. It's not lame, it's absolute truth.
