I like my desires, I like my attachments and I will not accept the world as it is. Some day I'm going to die, and I'll be damned if I'm going to look back and see myself meditating on how lovely everything was when I have the power now to make it even lovelier. I don't see how throwing away my wants is going to make me stronger or make me more capable of changing the world for the better, so I can, I think, say that spiritualism offers me less than nothing.
