as far as i studied the quran it strictly prohibits men from having relations with anyone outside marriage and asks men to fast and abstain till they are financially capable for marriage, and also for the women in war they are not to be touched by other men until and unless they agree of their own free will to marry them. please review all ayahs pertaining to marriage in quran, and esp. surah nur 32-33. also Allah tells us that there is no confusion in the quran and verses explain the others.

@proudfemale please state where u r gettin ur facts from. i would love to see where it was said females are dirty/deficient/inferior to any muslim male. i would aso like for you to provide valid sources for all the other facts that you have posted. without documentation your posts are worthless and considered void. jus merely ur sad opinion and shows how misinformed u r.

-girls are denied childhoods
-ADULT women require male consent for 'everything'
-wife beating IS NOT A CRIME in ummah & in fact supported by muslims & your imams
-enforced inequality/degradation of women is abuse/ill treatment
why is it you accept such showing you have so little respect for yourself, human rights or decencies..how come you DONT CARE what happens to girls?

@proudfemale excuse me but I have CARE A LOT for what is happening around the world, particularly to women in the middle east because they are not being given the rights they deserve which is why i advocate things like education and right to work among women, particularly in Afghanistan so don't tell me i don't care! i just don't happen to be ignorant to say that Islam is the problem ok for a religion that says heaven is below a mother's feet i think that says a lot

islam IS THE PROBLEM ...what else is the common denominator in VAST MAJORITY of worlds 10 'unhealthiest" countries (in every sense of the word) for women in terms of empowerment, abuse, enforced inequality, povery, illiteracy, mortality, health care, education

@proudfemale The rules pertaining to women in Islam effectively diffuse the potential for her sexuality to influence her transactions with males. If Islam=oppression why would Allah prescribe rules for women to engage with men and be judged by the quality of her intelligence as opposed to anything else. In Amerikkka she is mainly encouraged to progress using her sexuality. what motivation does a woman have to develop the quality of her intelligence in that environment?

does the female captive have a choice not to have sex with her master? if she does then I agree it is humane, otherwise, with God's help, i would rather choose prison than defiling my marriage

I don't know the answer to your question but you know what happens in prison... girls in Iraq are being raped everyday by soldiers whether they are iraqi or not .... remember women soldiers being raped by male soldiers..... so what we see is that it is not your choice in prison that your marriage will not be defiled by the "civilized" soldiers of western countries. so now I ask you which is the better option...

it is very sad what is happeneing to anyone that is raped or illegally imprisoned, in fact i dont even agree with prison, it is better to give them some other form of punishment rather than drag it forever, Qur'an is right about this
there is no option? what you are asking is do i want my left leg cut off or my right, however i was talking about rape vs prison, you are making them the same, we whereas are speaking hypothetically

i dont know what you mean, you havent answered my question? whether a woman is raped in a "normal" prison or a home prison, or kiddnaped and raped, does not make a difference, and so I would rather be in prison than be raped, that is purer
the question is not whether rape happens in prisons but of the choice of two (assuming no rape in prison since i have to spell it out) prison or rape, then prison is what i would choose

Dear Brother, I like your way of teaching but the thing I noticed is that you should be little slow while explaining. Other than that Masha Allah the knowledge you have it is very nice for youth. May Allah grow your knowledge and give me the knowledge of Islam. Ameen

although it was a nice lecture, the silence thing that you said is kind of disappointing for females... it's a win win situation for males! In case it's their mistake, then they are silent, and not explain.. then the poor wife has to go behind him to ask the reason for his sadness. please give few more tips for females........ good believing females..:)

Alhamdullilah, really nice speech to listen. Nouman has shared such valuable hints to have a successful marriage, I will keep these tips close to me when I marry (inshallah). And he has enlightened over the issue of our religion and the hypocritical attitude of some of the non muslims by asking questions for the sake of discussions.
Thank you very much, only Allah can repay you well for this pious deed.

man this brothers brain is full of knowledge i can see it. He talks so intellegnetly in every sentence mashallah may Allah enter him in firdaus. I recommend watch his other videos you dont get speakers like this too often anymore. Subhannalah wouldnt it be the most amazing thing listening to a lecture from the prophet sws or his sahaba?? We need to strictly abide by the Sunnah everyone reading this. Never let go of the sunnah!
