  • Go to a church/neighbourhood rummage sale (avoiding the noisy retail outlets) and pick out a raggedy-ann doll or other soft washable one. Rescue her from the sale, take her home and start your imaging-relationship by giving her a good laundering. After she dries, set something beside her that carries meaning in your recovery...a journal/picture/keepsake/broken toy...anything that's already become a focussing symbol for you. Write a note to her in your non-dominant hand explaining the object

  • My inner child was always there but very quiet but my child is now a big loud adult voice that won't be stomped on, that will do what is right, that now looks after her own (2) children.

  • This was great!! All your stuff is great but this one was also very funny!

  • I love the way you show up for us/for me. It is hard to say what you are doing right, because there are so many things, among them you make me resonate and smile in admiration. Wish we could be there for you half as much as you are there for us. Love and deep respect. Bill

  • There is no such thing as an inner child.

  • :) this is cute...nice way to comfort yourself.

  • Your voice reminds me of Ashley Judd

  • But aren't anorexic girls also insecure?

  • first i want to say your aura is very bright...also when i look at the dolls the inner child you choose is very full. she's filled with emotions so switching to a new doll and starting over wouldn't b so good.don't know if that makes sense?i think you should keep her and heal her, you wouldn't get a new child just because he/she is wounded, would u?i think keep her n after she's healed she will look completely different.peace and love

  • So, he is laughing at your attempts at healing your inner child and encouraging you to get a prettier inner child? Yep, that is helpful... Gaslighting.

  • The one on the left!! It's how the inner child FEELS, not how she looks. The one on the left looks like I feel when I'm depressed, especially dressed up as an "adult" and "mother" and "wife" when I feel totally incompetent (especially as mother) and undeserving.

  • I think you will LOVE the book called Homecoming by John Bradshaw. :)

  • I will try to say this in a nice way :

Your mouth looks like its feminine

  • I'll tell you how to find the miracle rainbow surprise, the flower of the sparkling entitity, showered with sparkles!!!!

  • Are you sure it was an angel and not a devil?

Perhaps the real problem with white middle class American Christianity is not depression. Perhaps that depression is a reflection of the flightiness and insubstantial nature of our faith.

  • Would you give this kind of advice to someone having seizure's daily? I'm sure, by your attitude, you have no idea what Major Depressive disorder or Generalized anxiety disorder is. Often, people with these disorders, can see God much more clearly!

  • She's really pretty. Get your eyes checked!

  • Freaky Therese looks like Andre the Giant at a Victorian Pub on Drag Night
