easy to jam with good job, now i dont need to always pull out my looper or record 5 tracks on my computer to play along with, and this sounds alot better too
@kinobiheart it has to be a blues scale for it to sound good. Try using a blues pentatonic to start off. I think you can also use the relative minor, which is C#
When someone says the key is in E, does that mean it could be any scale in E? Like if I was about to jam with some random person and he said the key was in E, but didn't specify minor or major or w/e, does that mean I can play E minor, E major, E dorian, E lydian, E mixolydian, E phrygian, E locrian and all those other E scales and modes over it? Or is there some sort of universal scale or mode or w/e to use?
Hearing this track I just picture a guy at the local bar like 11 drinks in just happy, hi-fiving people, getting into fights over nothing and telling guys "I love you man"
Pretty Cool lesson here, Covers the topic quite well. Ive just made a bunch of detailed courses for beginners and advanced guitarists that you might be interested in. Check it out! would love to know what you and anyone watching this video thinks. Its totally free, and i mean TOTALLY
Me - 15 ... That 'im 18 i know what i like' is bullshit, just dont follow the crowd and follow ur own ways... might that happens on ur 15th.. 18th whatever..
@Cha0z19 E, A, & B are the main major chords, and F#m, G#m, and C#m are the minor chords. The only chords you will use over this will be the majors E, A, and B. Progression is a simple 1 4 1 5 4 1 progression. So in this order E A E B A E. You should be able to hear the changes.
@sarp06er haha, i was playing parts of the solo, over this because i need to be able to play is for school, and than i saw your comment, pure genius :)
Just had first jam over this one and I need to say it's awesome. I didn't like the "bass+drums only" part ( 3:30 ) at first but after a while I figured that I can just go to the rhythm and do some improv from there ;)
Too bad download doesn't seem to be available (yet, I hope!)
Best key to play to in my opinion. Check out my SRV inspired blues jam, more to come. If you have any requests for a specific "jam track" to play to, let me know and I will post it!
