  • Excellent, m8.

  • easy to jam with good job, now i dont need to always pull out my looper or record 5 tracks on my computer to play along with, and this sounds alot better too

  • Playing on this with an harmonica is too fucking amazing!! :D

  • how comes i didnt realize my guitar neck was red all those years.... wait what?

  • is pride and joy !!!!

  • you can be a noob like me at guitar and still rock out and have a good time to this :)

  • thank you ! its amazing how many little licks come to the fold when jamming along with this !! very cool

  • Thank you... ya know, I bought a SonyCyberShot HD camera, and without a bunch of extra equipment, i can do some fairly fun and cool things....

Check out my first attempt on my profile....

If ya have time that is...

    Tengo un buen dia, Maestro!

  • @alaric63 i was gonna listen to it before you roth ur spanish shit i dont listen to mexicans

  • @nik57nik57 Are you kidding me? Go take your ignorant racist trash talk somewhere else, asshole.

  • @nik57nik57 Not everyone that speaks Spanish is Mexican douchebag.

  • I just wanted to say how much benefit it is and how much fun I have had jamming to this track and others here on youtube.

I plan to record a video of me on top of this with my oh so cool 70yamahaFG300with adjustable puente!

Stop me now if you have a prob,

or just send me a bill.....

    good times, Thanks!

  • @alaric63 have a blast!

  • thank you !

  • god bless you and the jam session i am in the middle of!

  • sounds good

  • @kinobiheart it has to be a blues scale for it to sound good. Try using a blues pentatonic to start off. I think you can also use the relative minor, which is C#

  • When someone says the key is in E, does that mean it could be any scale in E? Like if I was about to jam with some random person and he said the key was in E, but didn't specify minor or major or w/e, does that mean I can play E minor, E major, E dorian, E lydian, E mixolydian, E phrygian, E locrian and all those other E scales and modes over it? Or is there some sort of universal scale or mode or w/e to use?

  • i broke a string when i playd this! ;D

  • @Antox14161416 holy fuck i did it too

  • @Antox14161416

so did i.... now thts a good track i think ;D

  • pride and joy

  • Why didn't you go to the A after that break!? 1:53

  • I tried THE SRV lick on this. Amazing, sound almost the same as pride and joy. The only diference is that this is in E and SRV songs are in Eb.

    Thanks for posting.

  • 805 likes from Creed Bratton

  • lol this is basically stevie ray vaughn pride and joy backing track

  • @ALEXCHASE750 It's not. It is Pride And Joy that is based on the most basic blues chord line in the world.

  • @ALEXCHASE750 it is :)

  • @ALEXCHASE750 Blues standard man! People have been playing this since before SRV was born!

  • @Danichanaoyama Cant disagree, but it pride and joy :) Uploader just confirmed it, gotta love that E 12 bar !

  • @ALEXCHASE750 robert johnson copied stevie, too?

  • @kschiavo Just use a Blues Scale

  • @kschiavo i think E minor pentatonic is the easiest

    Rory.

  • very good! ^^

  • I hope one day I can play as a lead guitar in blues! I have to practice a lot and this page is perfect for it! Thanks!

  • can somebody tell me which chords are used for E?

  • @Cha0z19 E, A, & B are the main major chords, and F#m, G#m, and C#m are the minor chords. The only chords you will use over this will be the majors E, A, and B. Progression is a simple 1 4 1 5 4 1 progression. So in this order E A E B A E. You should be able to hear the changes.

  • i never thought i could lead for a blues band til i played over this. thanks for letting me believe in myself as a guitarist again!

  • it's prid and joy dude..

  • Use both E major and minor, switch between the two at appropriate intervals, and don't forget to use the seventh and ninth!

  • @JimmyPage97 I think its pride and joy by Stevie Ray Vaughan

  • @chris41188 yea i think its both really... I don't think its a stretch to say BB King (who I think wrote sweet home) was a blues inspiration...
