don't have too many non-corrupt people comming in the elections

We are not choosing the President too well now

Minority fights with majority and prefers to vote people only in their community

there is hardly and social equality here !

the peamble does say that stuff but only certain people of certain groups were consulted about their demands the hindu-muslim riots we pretty common back then so the hindu-muslim people only seldom respect each other and in rural areas they hardly do so at all! what is social equality (not equal in front of the law)(the other thing) we need the people to see themselves as a part of a large,united nation not a religion or stuff you get what i mean ! Forget religious and gender differences ok ?

The people here only know how to talk about social justice,democracy,equality,but have no idea as to what these really mean !

They mean having respect for each other,no matter how poor,whichever religion whatsoever !

Reading a book and then typing the same words here don't mean you are smart .

The people here have to have the will

that,yes,this is my country and i live to make it a better place,to work for it !

We are the best at thinking we are the best

But the potential has to be exposed !

The comments here are taken from ideas in books . This is not how this works

You have to think , ponder , wonder and express opinions about these things

Not read a book and type the same down there !

Of all the ideas enshrined in the constitution , few are implemented

Social equality among the people should be present

People should have respect for each other

For example

I agree , the people here shout a lot but of things they have not idea about

Democracy has a problem

political instability due to changing leaders

it is real bad in our country as most of the leaders we have don't give a damn about the country

they just want the money and the power

The will of the people is the best law

but the people here want their own gain and the spirit of working for our country has to be aroused in them

the best way is advertising ( like Hitler made all the Germans hate the Jews )

But nobody seems to care about the welfare of the society

India has been a democracy for 60 years

now where is the improvement

hardly any

i am telling you

you just can't control such a populous country this way

reduce rights of expression a bit

implement the laws

and do something about the vote of no confidence!

@varun9t dude the will of the people is the best law but nobody here seems to care hardly and even vote most of them only vote after they are 18 to see what it is like and voting after that age is really seldom laws here have to implemented and corruption removed Almost nothing the govenment does is of much use to the common people we all can see how well the preperations of the commonwealth games are going less than 50 days and not even half the work is done we need the skilled labour to stay!

India has over a billion people obviously this much a population can't agree complete to anything majority and minority start having conflicts we need to prosper under one strong ruler the citizens are (mostly) like spoilt kids they want rights and money let the country remain in poverty and perish a good ruler has to work to maintain his position so that the no confidence is not passed not much time left for the country oppressive education system we need a better form of democray people!!!!

That is why votes are held in India.No person is superior as the person chosen by the citizens chooses the president.and overall the president has lot more responsibilities than yours so he will and should have more powers than you.
