they are saying that its starts at 4meter p second ,use it on rooftops,no disturbing rotors,birds can see it,can be used in citys with no problems,the angle on the tube is 3degrees,because the wind needs to turning inside tube and get out on the top of the tube,more wind to get in more wind to get out,the sise is about 30-90 meter high,its stands the wind up to 40meter per second,its the best translation i can do :-)regards cato

It might be easier to extract energy from a faster moving air stream, I would not know, but increasing the wind speed is not adding more energy. This device is very sensitive to wind direction, as he himself admit, the angel of it is part of the reason the air flow increases speed. I wonder if a equally big funnel would have the same effect.
