Sorry, but this was my least favorite of Disney's afternoon cartoons. Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers, Tale Spin, Darkwing Duck, and even Gummi Bears were much better.
I have to agree maybe I was getting too old but this is when Disney started to fall off the wagon in my opinion. Even the them song isn't as good as the others.
I do agree I did feel the same thing but there were plenty of episodes that kept me watching. It wasn't the "Pure Gold" That was Ducktales but it was still good.
Maybe it's the Nostalgia talking but I enjoyed Gummi Bears way more then goof troop. Not to say I didn't enjoy goof troop, I just enjoyed gummi bears more. Episodes like "Gummis at sea" i guess.
Scenario: You're trapped on an inescapable island with a Volcano that will erupt in a few years, What do you do?
Solution: Carve a huge F*(King dragons head into the side of the volcano so that when it erupts and kills you it will look like your masterpiece is breathing fire. Awsome.

Me and my dad used to watch this every saturday when I was 5, we'd sit down and we'd have a bowl of cereal and just sit there and watch it all day. Just me and him, doesn't matter if it was raining or if it was sunny. Whether he was on call at the hospital or not, he always found a way to sit down and watch it with me. That was over 11 years ago now, don' really spend much time like that with him anymore. Makes you think, why would we give up something like that so fast to become grown ups?

But in order for there to be a double for every character, that means that every set of parents, grandparents and ancestors since the beginning of time needed to procreate with the same partner they had in the normal universe. The act of mating has to happen at pretty much the exact same time in order to ensure that the exact same sperm meets the exact same egg, and that the doubles are of the exact same age.
Did anyone ever see the episode where Pete made a bet with is wife he could go a whole day without eating and goofy was training to be a ninja? I don't think I ever laughed so hard as a kid.

And that's because during the 80's and 90's there was major competition amongst cartoon studios that constantly raised the bar higher and higher to the point that there was an oversaturation of high quality product that couldn't get used.

Before Max was named Max, he was named Junior in the old Goofy short cartoons. Many of them are hilarious and I do suggest you check them out.

I think that's the reason, it's too costly to compete in that division anymore with channels like Nicktoons, the hub and cartoon network, and some other kids and none kids channels making cartoons series when they are more expensive than live action.
@tendtodaydream case in point: the best selling property from Viacom which includes channels like Nick, Comedy Central and Mtv, is Dora the Explorer.
So why bother going into competition on the cartoons aimed at older kids to adults when very young kids bring in the money that is worth the animation?
It's like a guy who can get food at walmart instead for 30+ dollars less every time. Sometimes he'd rather save money than support the smaller market.

I remember I hated this show at first cuz they cancled one of my favorites to air it....it won me over after a few episodes though :) HEY DOES ANYONE REMEMBER WHEN BURGER KING GAVE AWAY PLASTIC ACTION FIGURES WITH THE MEALS FOR THIS SHOW??? I think I still have two like somewhere lol

The only one to dislike this video is Pete. If you look closely, something uncool is always happening to him in the opening, like his daughter jumping on him or a dragon flaming him in the butt. XD But the first time you see him, he's just standing there in camo, so that doesn't count, but still. lol

funny Goofy always liked Pete and was so friendly and imposing,even when the feeling obviously wasn't mutual.
fun ending.. set 10yrs after last goofy movie.
Max and Pistol get married.
Goofy: "Kids all grown up n' gettin' married.Who woulda thought me n' you'd end up related?"

@SuperClintEastwood Well for starters, learn what that word means. And second, that doesn't negate what I just told you. Goofy is older than you, he's even older than me. Before Max was named Max, he was named Junior in the old Goofy short cartoons. Many of them are hilarious and I do suggest you check them out.

@tendtodaydream Disney's response: well that all depends? are you willing to continue buying products from said cartoons and not pirate them swearing only to work for the Disney corporation and never see much of anything else.
I think that's the reason, it's too costly to compete in that division anymore with channels like Nicktoons, the hub and cartoon network, and some other kids and none kids channels making cartoons series when they are more expensive than live action.

@tendtodaydream case in point: the best selling property from Viacom which includes channels like Nick, Comedy Central and Mtv, is Dora the Explorer.
So why bother going into competition on the cartoons aimed at older kids to adults when very young kids bring in the money that is worth the animation?
It's like a guy who can get food at walmart instead for 30+ dollars less every time. Sometimes he'd rather save money than support the smaller market.

honestly, i love thease shows sooooo much like goof troop, tail spin,duck tails. i just feel so sorry for the kids of today beacause they will never know cartoons like we did i think what im gonna try to do is look online for all the seasons of thease shows so i can show them to my future children.
