I got in a fight with my younger sister. I tried to take the remote away from her. We struggled back and forth and then she hit me and it bent my glasses. I completely freaked out because i thought she had ruined them. so i hit her back and i guess won. It didnt feel like winning though. i didnt even watch tv afterwards and thats the only time i have ever fought (physically) with a sibling.
All my physical fights have been with my siblings, I may be the older sister, but that doesn't mean I was the best physically. Until I took revenge and almost broke one of my brother's noses while sparring during Karate Class, that was nice.
Lol not that this comment is a little late or anything, but I have been in 2 physical fights not including sparing and they both had to do with somebody trying to hurt/kill my dogs. People can be complete jerks.
Of course I've gotten into plenty of physical altercations *cough* totally wasn’t against my will and definitely didn’t end up with me trying to run away to no avail then ending up with my head in the toilet anyway...*nervous laughter*…
I usually get into verbal fights with people in my school. They usually go kind of like: "Hey, that was just unecessary!"
"What retard?"
Then I just totally nerd out at everything they say and it ends with them saying something like "Well you're gay!"
Well I also strangled a little kid before, three years younger than me. He kicked me in the back and in my backpack I had my glasses and I thought they were going to break. So I strangled him, not so that he passed out, just so he would stop.
i can like totally relate to hank my relationship with my brother was like that a long time ago
me and my brother fought allot but the one fight i can remember was we had just finished watching a scary movie and my brother snuck up behind me so i whirled around and backhanded him across the face and slugged him in the gut at the some time i think that was the only fight i ever won against my three years superior brother
my only fight that has ever happened consisted of my friend throwing a scooter handle at my head and me punching him in the jaw and promptly apologizing... nerdfighters?
I used to get in fights all the time. When i was younger, like grade 3, I was bullied to absolute breaking point because i was small. After that i would just beat people up because nobody expects the little quiet girl to be the bully i never got caught. I stabbed them with pencils and forks and punched and kicked and bruised. I mended my ways not too long ago. Now I'm a nerd.
I've only been in one "fight." Basically, my friend had locked me out of my own house while he and another friend were over. Granted, this wasn't too bad, but there were a lot of other things that he had done that pissed me off. So, after I got in, I started play fighting around him and joking around and he stands up out of his chair and charges me! After I recover from the charge, I just hold him at arms length by his neck (I was taller) so he can't hit me until the other friend breaks it up.
I only ever really get in verbal fights/arguments, but I get in those a lot. In fact, just the other day I was talking to some of my friends and one of them was skipping to the end of, and this isn't a lie, An Abundance of Katherines and I got really upset and told them that reading the first chapter of a book and then skipping to the last chapter of said book is basically like stealing. That was in Homeroom, we made up in Science at the end of the day when I saw her halfway through the book.
I usually don't get angry, but when I do, it sometimes results in me trying to dislocate someone's shoulder XD
There was a girl who used to go to my school. She was being a bitch, so I threw a bucket at her. Then, while we were making up, some of her friends walked by, so she started screaming at me about how I was such an awful person, and that she could have been cut...by a bucket (she's a beef-witted harpy)...I might have punched her after that. Not sure. She still thinks I'm her friend. Huh.
My sister is a year and a half older and maybe an inch taller than I am, and she takes great pride in her ability to pin me to the floor and crush my internal organs by sitting on me when I piss her off. She also likes the very nerdy, girly, squealing sounds I make when she does this.
the closest i've come to being in a fight was in kindergarten, when one of the boys decided it'd be a great idea to lift up the skirt of my dress and see what was under there. needless to say, i scratched his forehead and made him bleed and we both ended up in the principal's office.
my brother is easylily a nerd. 14 and 80 punds...... i on the other hand am a nerd that doesnt seem like the bias oppinion of nerds being small and fragile. my brother does. one day we were invited to the cool dude house for an all night halo event. me and my brother are minecraft fans so halo was a odd game but we said yes. when we got there only 3 people came. the most popular kid, and two of the biggest bullies in our school..... we could see where this was going. i willl finish this in reply
@actonzac000 ok. the popular kid and the bully brought my brothrer up stairs to "play" while the biggest of the kids beat me up...........i had been in karate since i was 3....... he punched me maybe 7 times beforei was starting to get pissed off. As a nerd iwas thinking of how to handle the situation.. i puched him in the face and phisicallly displace his nose. he had sugery about a month later. i happen to have a lot of strength whenever i get angry . i walked upstairs...... i'll finish reply
@actonzac000 and went into the first room which lucky for me was the room my brother was in. I picked up the popular kid and puched him in the face. he fell unconcious. the bully hit me in the stomach very hard. thats when i side kickeed his ribs then puched him in the gut about twice as hard as he did. then i kicked him in the face. When his mom asked them what happened they said they we just playing around and i became too rough. isnt great when the house has sercurty cameras in the house
I ook martial arts classes for 5 years. Then when I was 10 a guy who was about 15 and my friends older brother was going on about how girls were weak and inferior. I said we should fight about it. He must have been a big decepticon because he agreed to fight a 10 year old small girl. He took first punch I dodged, hit him right in the face and might have given him a black eye and a blood nose :/
i whacked my best friend with a plastic bucket and he had to get stictes. he cut in front of me at the water spigot. we were filling up our buckets with water and then washing the chuak of the sidewalk. he cut in front ofme just after he yelled at me for cutting him. so i got pissed and whacked him with a bucket i was going into 3rd grade. i had anger issues as a child
I had braces. That would have been my response to getting punched in the mouth too! I mean, you don't want to be stuck with them for longer just because they got messed up by a punch.
Blah, I've been in one...no, two fights. And I'm a hard core nerd.
1) First grade: So my best friend in first grade is half black/half white. Some fifth grader was picking on her and throwing rocks and stuff at her. He called her nasty names, and I got very angry....So I came up behind him, and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around, got a kick in the balls, and a broken nose. THEN he got expelled :)
2) Sophomore year: Some senior pickin on a freshman. I threw him over the stair railing :)
John, I'm 4'11", don't feel bad. Height isn't everything, and at least you have managed to find a girl of an apropriate height for you. I'm having problems on the short male nerdfighter front. My first boyfriend was 2 feet taller than me. I'm not exadurating
Well it's not my story, but this girl I know punched a kid in the mouth when they were in Elementary School. BUT she punched this kid because he said Harry Potter was stupid. Oh, did I mention that she's a black belt and the kid bled a lot? Huh...
Junior Year in high school this idiot (Senior) decided it was a good idea to start choking my brother(Junior) to prove he was better than him (Bro. Snagged a Scholarship) But, because I was a shy artist, he didn't think I would use my build (kind of a thing in the family, all of us are pretty well built) to my advantage. He also didnt think I would shatter his jaw with one well aimed punch of my ringed hand. Didn't get in trouble either. Heck, the principal applauded me... Yep.
perhaps when john claims to be 6 ft 1, he is including his puff levels. which is indeed a faulty method of measure one's height, but may be used by john to protect any slight feeling of height inferiority.
My sister and I have been in three fights over the years, only because she is a nerd hater. Now my sister is exactly thirteen years older then me and I would think she would come up with something other then me being a "brat" or "dork" but she hasn't. It could be the fact that it still, after all these years, tick me off.
So my younger sister (who is almost 13) is taller than me, a seventeen year old junior in high school. She's in seventh grade. It sucks, and yes I get made fun of all the time, but I can sympathize with John. It's not easy being short, and sometimes you want people to believe that you're taller than you actually are. Also, with my boyfriend being a whole foot taller than me, it's painful thinking that my sister might match his height. I wish I could say I was naturally short, but I'm not. Darn.
Yes combative communication is at moments necessary, but it is the lowest form. It's only necessary when communicating to someone too ignorant to communicate in a more enlightened way.
As a kid I fought all the time; it's easy to get your frustrations out; or to express fear, in a macho way.
I used to fight with my brothers all the time...then they got stronger than me. I'm also 4 inches taller than my sister. And only one inch shorter than my dad. He claims he's 5'9" when I am 5'6"...I think alot of men claim to be taller.
As a nerdfighter with braces, in John's defense, I'd like to say that his response to being punched in the mouth was totally rational. Rearranging your teeth with annoying, pokey pieces of metal that make it hard to eat for many months is not a pleasant process. If you had damaged John's braces, that might have either A) extended his treatment period, or B) forced him to go see his orthodontist for an emergency visit, which is no fun when he has to fuse something back into place.
I'm a good half a head taller than my sister who is 2 years older than me. but my brother who i 8 years younger than than me is going to be taller than me any time now. he is 10 almost 11. and I am 5 ft 7in.
Okay, so I'm pretty big and strong, and I usually hold back so I don't hurt anyone.
But when in high school, this kid made the mistake of vandalizing school property in front of me when I was in a bad mood. So when he tried to make a break for it, I grabbed him by his shirt and his backpack and held him in place while his friends tried to hit me and his feet were still running like a cartoon character. But since a teacher didn't show up, I let him go, and he ran straight into a vending machine.
11 years old a kid was picking on me and my friends, I was used to it so I didn't react. And then he made a jab about my parents being divorced and I went berserker rage on him. I knocked him to the ground and began to hit and bite him. He proceeded to punch my lights out. I would do it again, I just wish that I had won.
when i was about 11 or 12, we bunch of girls were sitting in a row at the back of the school bus, and the boys* started to try to taunt us. (*the leader, the #2 and #3)
so one of them threw a water bottle at us and i got mad. i walked up to the leader (who was a year older than me) and i punched him in the stomach. he shut up, i think mostly from shock and humiliation.
I have only been in one physical fight that wasn't in a martial arts class, freshman year of high school a senior found out I was German, and decided calling me a Nazi was a wise desicion. He didn't realize a tiny freshman girl half his size would have martial arts training and a short temper until he was laying on his back in the school court yard. Best of all, never got in trouble either cause he would admit to a tiny freshman girl taking him down. No regrets either
As a girl with a younger sister, I totally identify with the height insecurity. She's insisting that she's taller, but I maintain that we're both still five foot four.
(As for combative physical violence, she used to pull my hair all the time. And once I bit her pretty hard.)
this was my first but not last fight it basically started when i brought my teddy bear on the school bus, i was in first grade, all the older kids made fun of me and started to play keep away with my bear...i then proceeded to go up to them kick them in there manly parts and then bite them untill they had several scars and were bleeding. they were in 5th grade and teasing a first grader, plus i really loved that bear, so.. i regret nothing execpt the nickname biter which i still have to this day
No, I'm pretty non-violent. The only fight I can remember getting in might have happened to my sister. Tether-ball was involved. I remember that much.
When I was 13, I went to the beach with my 7 year old niece. Some guy(at least 15 years old) was making fun of her to point of crying. I kicked him in his stomach and shoved him under the water. I don't regret any of it.
when I was about 6 or 7 some jerk was being mean to my *nerdy* 9 or 10 brother. my response? i went up to the jerk and repeatedly kicked his bike tire. my brother ran to my parents. now he is 6 ft. 4 in. 270lbs and a lineman for a D1 college football team...and yet my dad still makes fun of him for running away....yepp it was worth it

i cant remember what shedid but my step sister was being mean to my dog. so i inned her against the wall and threatened some serious damage if she ever did it again. she hasnt done it since >:D
This one boy in sixth grade was being incredibly annoying and mean, and I had been fed up with him at that point, and I eventually just jumped down from the monkeybars (recess) and punched him in the gut. He told a teacher and I got sent to the office. Only time I've ever gotten in trouble.
Well, I'd like to say I'm the physical one out of my sister and I, but I don't think that's the case. She punched me directly on the bone beneath my eye during one of our less serious fights. I got really upset not because it hurt but because I was really shocked that she hit me while our mother was standing literally behind me. This was all because I told her I didn't want to crate train my dog the way she was suggesting, and I said I knew more about dogs then she did... which I do.
when i was young i really didn't like the boys in my class (they still kinda annoy me now) but when i was in third grade i attacked them with my scary, sharp, uncut fingernails. for a while after that they called me a cat..... not exactly a fight but pain was inflicted.
The only time I've ever really fought was when I was younger with my brother, who is six years older than me. He would typically get me in a headlock and proceed to shake me till I thought my brain would explode, and then I would dig my finger nails in his arms till he let go. It was good times.
This is me and my Twin through and through.... :P .... Love you Ruth, and while I'm physicly suprier one day I'll be intelectually equal and we'll get along without violence...
I got in a fight with my friends when i was 11, i don't remember most of it but i do rememeber hitting my head on a two-by-four and going to the hospital for stitches, so i think probally lost.
one time, in first grade, this kid cut in front of me and i was like "dude go to the end of the line!" and he was like "I don't care what you want!" and then I said "I don't care, but everyone else does" (I was a noble first grader) and then he said "dude just leave me alone and punched me in the nose. and I was about to kick him in his manly parts but my nose was bleeding so I went to the nurse instead and got a lollipop. (:
I was once in a fight with my sister but I wouldn't punch her in the face because I didn't want to wreck her braces, out of respect for the major investment my grandmother had made. This is probably the nerdiest offensive strategy in combative physical communication. I am bonafide.
I once got into a short fight with a friend of mine who threw a candy wrapper on the ground and refused to pick it up. I kicked him in the shins, he fell down, he ran away. Did I mention that I am a five foot tall girl?
5th grade. This girl and I were at our friend's house and we fought. She slapped me and I clawed her. The evidence of which still exists in the form of finger-nail shaped scars on her arm. Worth it? Yes. We were BFFs after that.
My older brother of little over a year used to control every aspect of our sibling-hood. He would just take over the TV and call me names and pretend to be Chucky and scare me and hit me and mimic me and annoy me and.... Yeah. He was a butt trumpet.
BUT one time I actually did manage to give him a swift kick to the face. It was worth it.
I've actually been in... I want to say 3 fights? All of which were with ex boyfriends, and all of which I won. And one of them won't be able to have children.
I once almost got in a fight at school, but the other chick wouldn't hit me first, and I had to get to English class, because I didn't want to miss Shakespeare XD
"today is wensday. I just got up half an hour ago. My brother is acting very stupid. A few miunits ago he swung the refigarate door open and ice went flying out. Ok it is still the morning. But I was wrong. My brother iset stupid. He is a idiot. You know why my brother is an idot? it is because I winted to do something pirvet in my room but he wouldn't leve. So I had to kick him two times.
You're 6'1"? o.o I always imagined you a 5'9" kind of guy.
I was a very abusive little sister. In the spirit of the video where John read aloud from his diary (Today my brother got sick, etc), I'd like to quote my first diary entry (bad spelling and all). In a different comment, though, because I can't fit it here. XD
So one time, in middle school, this girl took my glasses off my face and snapped them in half. I socked her in the shoulder first (because I couldn't see) and then used sound to judge where her overchatty mouth was and hit her in the jaw...not because I was angry over my glasses, but because I thought my parents would be mad about the broken glasses. I still have the scar.
I was at a camp and we were doing tug-of-war, and my side lost, and my friend got hit in the collarbone (she was fine) when the winning side gave the final tug. This girl we really hated on the winning team was dancing around happily while my friend was on the ground, in pain. So I take some really menacing steps toward the girl, and she sees me, and gets scared. And thankfully the counselor saw me, too, and stopped me before anything could happen. Because... very bad things would have happened.
I have the same height issue with my older brother, it really bothers him that while he may be eighteen and so four years older than me I stand at six foot two clearing him by a good four inches. (Yes I am a 6.2" 14 year old) I've been in fights aswell, I never start them but they are always woth it.

Haha, the only proper fight I've ever been in was in year 8 I kicked a girl a couple of years above us IN THE BUTT. She'd come over just to pick on me and my friends about our HAIR of all things, but also how we were freaks. I was fine laughing it off, but one or two of my friends looked like they were on the verge of tears, so I beefed her. Nobody is allowed to make my friends cry. She told a teacher I'd attacked her and they didn't believe her :')
My own little sister once sat on me and smashed my face into the floor. This resulted in a couple of the brackets on my braces being knocked off. (Being concerned about your braces is not as nerdy as it seems.) My mom freaked out, no doubt concerned about the cost, and started yelling that now she wouldn't be able to afford to send me to college. I actually took her seriously, and was convinced I was going to be a loser for the rest of my life and work at a taco bell or something. :p
Millions of fights with my sister, every day, all day. She's ten and I'm 13, but don't think I'm picking on her- if she throws the remote control at me, I WILL throw it back XD
My teacher had braces as a teen. The month before getting them taken off, she was kicked in the mouth by a donkey. The braces saved her teeth from getting knocked out of her skull, but she had to spend an extra five years in them.
About that braces thing . . . I got hit in the mouth (accidentally, I swear) about 2 months back, but the first thing I said was "Ow! Is my bracket okay?" So yeah. And I've never been in a fight, I'm proud to say!
My little sister once hit me with a vacuum cleaner for using "her" brush. She also whipped me with an extention cord when i was attacking her verbally.
I got in a fight once in school, against a dude, out of self defense, and won. I was suspended for a day and treated like a kind of warrior by my peers for a good month or so. It was kinda nice.
Yes, I have been in a fight and it was very unfair!!! I was in first grade and U was walking my friend hoe from a barbecue we were at and i was telling him about how I got my yellow belt in karate. Just down the street from his house this 9th grader came up and was like ''So you have a yellow belt let see how you fight.''. I tried to explain to her that we haven't started sparring yet when she punched me in my tummy and threw me across the street into a mailbox.
Even though I'm a giant wuss and I I don't know how to fight, so I lost.
I was at a concert and some rather tall, strong, probably-drunk collage student grabbed me around the head and started shoving me. I just sorta swore at him and flailed around until someone pulled him off me, at which point I ran off to the bathroom clutching my bloody face. He tore a four-month-old scaffold piercing, gave me a fat lip, pulled the muscles in my jaw... Awesome. >.>
I've never been in a real full-on punching fight, but I once broke up a fight at school. Also, not a "fight" fight, but a (insert mean word here) girl pushed a table at me after I shouted at her for throwing a chair on the ground because she was angry about something stupid in Gym class.
My school has quite a few decepticons :-/
(also google chrome says decepticon isn't a word. LIEEEESSSS!!!!)
I haven't been in a fight in years but as a kid i got into tons for some reason. Most memorable, i got in a fight at church with a boy and...wait for it...he was the pastor's son! (Shaking head in shame) After that we became pretty good friends and a few years later we dated for awhile- go figure LOL
I once got thrown by a horse and scraped my face (off) on the frozen ground, and then because it was the second day I'd had my glasses, I cried not because it hurt, but because I thought I had broken my glasses, lol.
@Bosoxgalaxy I apologise for my stupidity. I always try and be grammatiacally correct when commenting becuase it really annoys me when people aren't, but I guess I let it slip...Won't happen again :P
I had accio deathly hallows stuck in my head. so as i sung to my self "as saterday aproches my need grows" someone in my class miss heard "need grows" as a word i didnt even know was a word till that day (and will not say even in text) wich resulted in me being cornerd in the girls washroom with nothing but a pink unbrella. I did win the fight butafter words i showd them the video and created new nerd fighters and new best friends. (my friend was mad at me for distroing her umbrella)
I was a very gentle and slightly overweight kid (but not big). I was terrified of violence and dreaded the thought of someday getting into my first fight. But then when I was about 7, this one kid annoyed / upset me so much that I lashed out with one punch, caught him on the jaw, knocked him flying backwards where he hit his head on a metal post and the concrete floor at the same time.
Pure luck.
After that I was afraid to fight for a completely different reason.
When I was in 4th grade I got in a fight with a girl at Girl Scout camp. For some reason I can't remember she started calling me every bad name you could think of and a couple more. I decided to be the bigger person and walk away. Then she said something really nasty so I turned around, punched her in the face and broke her nose. The best part is I didn't get in trouble. The camp councelor who had witnessed the event said she was surprised I hadn't hit the girl earlier and that she had it coming
i got punched in the side of the head once by someone who wanted to steal my hat (he didn't get it), but i managed to talk him down from wanting to continue to fight me.
also, i used to do Hawai'ian Ju-jitsu, and we "fought" a lot in that. i was the only one who ever got a concussion, so i don't think i won.
I'm an only child, but it does seem like video blogging is the easiest way to keep communication with a sibling without getting into fights.
I think I got into a fight in elementary school because of a girl a few years older who was always really mean to me.
I also smacked someone really hard at a camp I was at once. And you know he deserved it when one of the counselors of the camp praises you for hitting him.
(I know this is old, but I had to reply. It was an interesting question)
For a nerd, I have been in quite a few physical altercations, but usually it was while defending another that wasn't able to defend themselves. I'm very much pro-talking things out, but when the other person starts throwing punches, sometimes you just gotta lay down the law.
And I would like to add, apparently, I'm actually a pretty good boxer :) lol
I once got into a fight in textiles where a guy was upset that i wouldnt do his sewing for him coz i was helping my friend so he hit me twice in my right eye and all i did was say "that punch was weaker than anything fred has put on youtube" he then preceded to hit me again
though generally combative communication isnt my most prefered way to talk (why fight when you can end it verbally?) its nice to have some fun with kicking ass...and chewing bubble gum! dont forget that ;D
My little sister used to bite me, and i would always take the stance that I am the older sister, I have to act mature, but one time I got so mad I just bit her back....
I've only ever gotten into physical fights with my sister, all when we were much younger. This is because as well as Sophmore in highschool me gets along with Senior in highschool her, as a child she was very violent and I was very annoying. I didn't mean to be annoying, but I was a little nerd child who was always talking about biology, and she wanted me to be quiet. Except insults didn't make me, so she hit me. Little me thought crying loudly counted as revenge.
I was in a fight the first year of high school, a group of girls from 3 years above attacked me they broke one of my teeth and toar the muscle in my right arm, I couldn't use my arm for about a month, the best part about it is they did it because I had long hair since then I have been home educated, my arm still locks time to time because they moved the cartlidge in my elbow so I now have a light case of arthritis
Yeah, I've been in quite a lot of fights. Most of them when I was a kid. None of them were worth it.
I only have a sister and I would never hit her. Although once she walked in front of me while I was playing the wii. I didn't see her. <.<
I agree that "combative physical communication" can be useful though. There are times when it's worth it. The only times it's ever seemed truly necessary for me have ended with the other person backing off though. So it's never come to that for good reason..
I have an older brother, an older sister, and a younger sister, but we never really fought physically. Although one time (probably one of my most embarrassing moments), my younger sister and her friend (they were both about 6 then, and I was about 9) were playing, and I was bugging them, so the friend girly-punched me in the face and knocked out one of my baby teeth (which was already loose, but still...)
Oh, and did he say they were at Nick Jonas' house???
I get into fights with my brother all the time. Which really sucks because he's at least four inches taller than me and at least fifty pounds heavier. And yes, it's worth it because I verbally attack him when he tells me I can't go on Youtube. >.> For some reason, he decides to go the I'm-such-a-coward-I-think-I'll-attack-my-little-sister. So it's self-defense... and I used to (afterward) make myself cry and run to my dad to get him in trouble. >:) Ah, I was such an evil little child.
Once me and brother physically fought. We had an arguement, so I kicked him in his...men areas....and he bit my leg. I cried he bited so I thought I came off worse, its more likely he did....
I used to bite people when I was in preschool. Not my story. On my birthday, this jerk who rides my schoolbus decided that my usual seat was now his. So he sat on me. I kicked him in the head (while sitting down) and he elbowed me in the eye. After I got off the bus, the phone rang. His mom had forced him to call and apologize. I didn't get a scratch, and he was hugely embarrassed, which made it the best birthday ever. (Plus my dad was actually proud of me for attacking him. Win.)
The last time I fought with someone it was with my sister. We have a habit of having food fights. Our last fight included some icing and candy, because she was in the middle of making a gingerbread house....I also regret to say, she started it and she is 9 years older then me. I guess you are never to old to pick a fight with your sibling. =D
Last year a dude at my school spread rumers about my sister and I got into a fight with him and he got the crap kicked out of him :). Then the next day at school he tryed to tell people he wooped me, but he forgot that my brother was there filming it with his phone :)!!
I am a girl and I play hockey (I know it's weird) and one of the guys on my team called me a f**ing b**** so I punched him in the face which started a huge fight after our practice in which I slam another guy in the head with my stick
When I was 13, I babysat my younger siblings for the first time. My brother, who was playing with a ball, refused to share. My sister was, at the time, a "physical communicator," so she attacked him. My sister had long, claw-like fingernails, and she loved to scratch. Long story short, I had to subdue my sister by sitting on her. I still have some scars from where she scratched me. My brother ran away, and I was held responsible for the fight. However, my sister and I are good friends now. :)
At my last doctor's appointment, they tried to convince me that I'm 5'3". I'm actually only 5'1" (unless my mother grew, which I think somewhat unlikely), so John's doctor could certainly be wrong.

Huh.

I read a fellow nerdfighters comment about braces and:
Hank, as a fellow ex-bracee(?) I can tell you that it hurts a LOT when something punches your mouth, imagine this:
Fist connects with lip, lip's inner "soft" side hits METAL braces AND wire, braces PUSH BACK into teeth, teeth shifts = VERY PAINFUL.
Not to mention, your inner lip will probably bleed.
And yes, when you have braces you don't want ANYTHING to intefer and make it an even LONGER process..bcz it hurts like shit every time you go.
Twefrence 4 months ago
I used to fight with my brothers all the time...then they got stronger than me. I'm also 4 inches taller than my sister. And only one inch shorter than my dad. He claims he's 5'9" when I am 5'6"...I think alot of men claim to be taller.
heyitsrissa 4 months ago
As a nerdfighter with braces, in John's defense, I'd like to say that his response to being punched in the mouth was totally rational. Rearranging your teeth with annoying, pokey pieces of metal that make it hard to eat for many months is not a pleasant process. If you had damaged John's braces, that might have either A) extended his treatment period, or B) forced him to go see his orthodontist for an emergency visit, which is no fun when he has to fuse something back into place.

Well, I'd like to say I'm the physical one out of my sister and I, but I don't think that's the case. She punched me directly on the bone beneath my eye during one of our less serious fights. I got really upset not because it hurt but because I was really shocked that she hit me while our mother was standing literally behind me. This was all because I told her I didn't want to crate train my dog the way she was suggesting, and I said I knew more about dogs then she did... which I do.

My little sister once hit me with a vacuum cleaner for using "her" brush. She also whipped me with an extention cord when i was attacking her verbally.
My entire right arm is full of scars from her.

I guess I've kinda been in a fight?

John, don't worry about the height thing. I'm 4' 8" and my little sister is 5' 2" so....

My brother and I have both matured, and we've reached the point where our arguments go something like:
"You're fat."
"Your face is fat."
"Your camels in a tiny car are fat."
"Your pancake mix is fat."
"You ain't got no pancake mix!"
"Your pancake mix smells funny!" (PotC, anyone? XD_
"At least I got pancake mix."
...
"You're still fat."

I got into a very very similar fight with my brother to you Hank.
My brother is about three times my size and boxes competitively.
My brother was hogging the TV, so I punched him in the face, he just looked at me schocked, and then my hand hurt and swelled up.
It was embarrassing for me

My little sister used to bite me, and i would always take the stance that I am the older sister, I have to act mature, but one time I got so mad I just bit her back....
and she never bit me again.
