Io sono brasiliano, e quando ero bambino dovevo stuadiare un'altra lingua dopo l'inglese, e ho deciso per la lingua italiana, poi e una lingua troppo bella, non mi piaceva il francese neanche lo spagnolo (che sembra molto il portoghese).

The fact is that 'sono le sette in punto,' or 'sono le sette precise' are both correct.

You can think of 'sono le sette precise' as being equivalent to "seven sharp" or "exactly seven o'clock."
