hollywood is very clever they get loads of press for hiring ricky, he was good as usual, i think it took 3 yeras to get his humour, now they expect it.
@prazzomoto The Ricky I liked was a nobody, who behaved like a big shot when really he was a nobody, who, out of no where, created the Office, Extras, Animals, Politics, Fame, amazing podcasts and XFM shows.
However, his second and third hosting of the Golden Globes didn't make me crack a smile, neither did his Life's Too Short, Invention of Lying, Ghost Town or cameo appearances like on Curb. Even his promo work he does now doesn't make me smile or think.
I heard there might be a 7 second delay just to make sure Ricky doesn't say something too out there..hopefully they don't censor him too much if at all. Otherwise I won't be watching the Golden Globes again. Agree with what he is saying. Looking forward to this evening!
You really get a sense of this guy's self-importance, watching this. His performance last year was crass, repetitive, lacking in any nuance, wit or subtlety and generally a re-hash of jokes more talented people have said. Let's hope he improves this year.
