  • I am from Versoix. My grand-parent used to live in the house at the end of the quai.

  • That day was a tough winter, but Versoix is still a beautiful city (all the winter there is a prait the same thing).(I am versoisien)

Ce jour-là a été un hiver difficile, mais Versoix est toujours une ville magnifique (tout l'hiver il ya un prait la même chose). (Je suis versoisien)

Yeah, the town is very pretty. In fact, the entire shoreline all the way to Lausanne and beyond is very pretty.

  • THANK YOU! I've been looking for the title of this song since 05 when I first saw the PPS version of these slides. Such an impressive sight and that music only makes it MORE impressive. Nature is to respected and loved at all times!

  • i got this email today, but i really wanna see a video.

  • very cool upload i think an ice storm brings any community to its knees

    thanks for posting

  • Incredible ! When was this ?

Thanks for uploading these amazing pics - guess we are on our way towards a new ice age instead ;-)

Never seen anything as bad as this - not even here way up North ( Denmark ).

  • Elven,

I think this was from 2004, but I'm not sure. This is a rare event to be sure, but I don't think it portends any particular climate change. I would imagine that something like this could occur in those areas above or below 40 degrees latitude once per century or so. It is very stark to say the least.

  • Ok, thank you ;-)

Breathing a sigh of relief here -

think I was being slightly ironic, but act. a bit scary to watch in a way.

  • What is the music which is attached to this video?
