Do you know how many horses are slaughtered in the US every day? There aren't that many mustangs around. There are quite a few, but not that many, and alot of them are used in prison programs and adopted out. Most of the slaughter horses you see are either old unwanted horses or horses people bred and never bothered to train. Some of them are just lame or can't be ridden. I have 2 rescued from slaughter. 1 has pigeon toes and the other was a young untrained draft mix. :(
not most of the mustangs go to slughter that would be agiant a contract that the blm make u sign. thats sad with the foals. i will bea purple ribon. even though slaughter is agiant the law in amercia now
Actually there are still one or two slaughterhouses operational in the US. And George Bush signed a thing a couple years ago sending a large majority of wild horses to slaughter, so its not breaking any BLM agreement.

when i'm older i'm not going to buy a expenisive fit horse that has the best life, i'm going to buy horses with horrible lives and make them better! i've always wanted that!
I am the horse freak in my class, actually, no, the whole school, and I feel so sorry for the horses. I know they do this, and I am touched deeply by this video.

The war is not over they are simply taking them hundreds of miles farther into Juarez Mexico where they kill them in a more horrific way.The miles they will travel now will be unbarible.God speed to HR 503 and the Horse Slaughter Prevention Act!
But yes it is great news for Illinois as we have shamed these foriegners out of our State as we will no longer allow them to collect thier blood money here from our American horses.Keep in touch ok!

the FOALS! geez i would love to adopt a mare and her foal some day from slaughter. thats the saddest thing. those foals were so gorgeous.

Great video!! Its very touching. A horse at the stables where I ride at was saved from the slaughter house.

So sad! I wish so hard that my parents would let me go and get a horse--especially one from slaughter houses, so a horse doesn't die.
