Sorry - I named the wrong Harry Belafonte song just now - it should of course have been ' Jamaica Farewell' before anyone corrects me! Nice to see Adrian there as well on the tug boat Calico and I am so envious of all of you that were there, not only for the weather and the scenery etc but also having the chance to see Lisa and Brenley in such lovely surroundings. They must have been in seventh heaven being on that tug - getting away from wintry weather in Toronto.
Hi Lisa and Brinley, you told us on your UK tour recently to watch this video and I am so glad you did, as it is lovely, especially as we are in the depths of winter here. Wish you had sung this song at our gig as it would have transported us to sunny and warm Grenada. Think the original song is called ' Banana Boat Song ' and was a hit for Harry Belafonte in 1957. Love all your songs and music, especially you Lisa on the fiddle. Please come back to the UK as soon as you can.
OMG ~ My heart be still ~ watching this video, listening to this new rendition ~ about and taken off shore of my homeland, Grenada, West Indies. Watching this as I sit here in Southern California ~ I'm all a-wash with wonderful emotions and realizing its been way to long since I've been back to my birth place, and St. George's. What a great song Madison and band members.........fills me with love, joy and a singing heart! Love it!
Dieter, thanks for the concert. It was a great day and a great concert - Madison Violet was even better that the previous time - we look forward to the next dinghy concert.
Just love the girls, they are the BEST!!!!!!

@coty137 I Would call it Grenada Farewell. It is based on the song Jamaica Farewell, also sung by Harry Belafonte

Love this song. The song speaks about the beauty and warmth hospitality of Grenada. So true. Like the idea of the a dinghy concert.
