ill be honest, i actually didnt know that. but many beatmakers have sampled one or two songs that were relatively new it all depends on how you sample it. i dont think sampling culture is eating itself.we obviously listen to a different type of hip hop cuz that is certainly not the case in the music i listen to.plus how can it, when there are still people like my self that still go to thrift stores, goodwills, Amoeba, and other records stores to find those gems we like to flip...
