Decent fight it was, but Lucas could have done WAY better. For example, why on earth did he/she use the up smash while Ness was light years aways from him @ 2:55? I left many openings, so therefore, he/she FAILED. lol
P.S. And it's a shame that Ness's better moves (PK Flash and the incredible speed of his bat) were altered in this game-then he would REALLY pose a bigger threat.
Actually both are pretty similar in attack power. Ness' PK Fire is pretty much Lucas' PK Thunder. What I mean is that Ness' PK Fire gives more damage and sustains the enemy. Same thing with Lucas' PK Thunder. It pretty much does the same thing. If their is anything I hate about someone playing Lucas, it's them spamming his PK Fire like it's the only attack he has.

WFZ and I will record some more matches tomorrow night, and hopefully I can tweak my Lucas enough to make for a more interesting match!
I think the biggest problem with Lucas in this video is that Kito used PK Freeze to edgeguard. Can't let you do that Star Fox...er, Kito. Remember that Freeze actually launches the opponent UPWARD, which only helps him or her recover further. ;)
That fight was thoroughly enjoyable. Its nice to see them fight. One thing I noticed was, Lucas' upsmash is ridiculously powerful and has huge knockback. Although, I think the reason that Lucas lost that one was because Kito was using more B moves, which take longer to execute, and WFZ was taking advantage of this. Note most of his dash attacks. =P
Yeah, I was a little grab happy in that battle. I still have to get used to his Snake grab, as it's pretty terrible. It has about the lag of Link's hookshot, but with worse range.
Also, Lucas' running A takes a few seconds for him to unleash, with a solid powerful blow, so if running or jumping into one another, his Forward A attacks always overlapped mine.
I still need to figure out a way to get around those, other than keeping him above me at most times.
I noticed during the fight I kept seeing the snake come out and I wasn't quite sure why, but, meh, no one expects you to be a master of a character in less than a month.
I suppose one thing you could always try is to use Lucas' aerial attacks. I'm not sure which is which, but the backwards heel kick and the aerial cartwheel attacks might be enough to get in close and land a few hits since I've noticed a lot of people lowering their shields before the attacks are over in an attempt to s-grab.
you put tweens but technically lucas and ness are like 13-14 :3

Lucas is easy to use requires no real timing or strategy while Ness can do more tricks and is stronger all around.

Great match. If Lucas kept his distance from Ness's Homerun Bat and had used PK Freeze more strategically, I think he would have won.

lucas was using his up smash waaaaaay too much. I think everytime he tried it, ness kicked him in the ass after lucas missed.
Only got off one solid hit with it the entire match.
It was still a neat battle, and one of the higher quality videos of brawl on all of the youtubes.
