Obviously, abstinence works (preventing pregnancy and STDs). What doesn't work are the ab only ed-programs. Some people seem to have a problem telling the difference. Most people can tell the difference between a television and a television PROGRAM. The shows make you stupid, not the set. Let's educate every kid to the fullest extent, age appropriately.

Sex is a bonus in a relationship that SHOULD be foundationed in love, communication, emotional intimacy, and mutual acceptance and tolerance.

I've always thought that abstinence only was absolute crap. Kids will be kids and part of growing up is experimenting. The best thing we can do for our kids is to give them the needed knowledge to be safe as they grow.

I just watched a video from this 14 year old girl, audrey shaw, on here who took an abstinence pledge and is actually trying to do a documentary on her experience. I just watched her most recent videos, and they prove my point the letter.

A friend of a friend is married and his wife hates to fuck. So now he's stuck in a sexless marriage.

Add that to the 99% effectiveness of perscription birth control, and you're pretty much set. And even if schools did make money off of condoms (which they don't), what's the big deal? This is exactly what society just doesn't understand. It's not about sex being bad, but expressing patience and responsibility for the sake of long term purity. The only "safe sex" is when people wait until marriage and then have sex with their spouse only.
