I'm getting flashbacks of Robocop and Rainbow Island... sadly I was growing up just as this generation was dying, but I had a commodore until 2002 when it died for good ;(
i actually stopped the cassette because i wasnt used to music being played during a cassette load thinking the game had finished loading lol the very first time i tried to load the c64 version of chase h.q...
@paulisthebest3uk I never went near the cassette fearing i would jinx it and would have to start over. Remember Renegade? New level, meant loading it. The amount of times It would fail to load on occasion. Many rages were had! - Good Times.
i think we should invent the time machine, doesnt matter when, as long as ur alive.... then telewarp back to the mid-late 80s and watch the C64 in all its glory again.... hmm must get prepared though, need to rent out a flat, obtain a c64 and buy every game ever purchased... sounds bizarre, probably better not do any of that,...let's just keep it all in our memory banks, all 64K of it.
In my opinion, the most cool tunes for the C64's SID are this, the Ocean Loader n.4, the Eliminator in-game tune and the Baby Jack' s one... (totally love the Commodore 64, the Commodore 16 and the Plus/4) !!!!
I didn't know this version, as I was used to loader4. This has better snare and slight other feel. The old sid has a great bass sound! Keeps surprising me.... By the way, has the C64 nightclub already been found?
Was gilt die Wette?
Thanks 1337fox, I was supposed to be making a presentation for a seminar tomorrow, and now I've got the sudden urge to go and record a guitar cover version of this.. ARGH!
I actually used to turn off the C-64 and re-load some of my games just to hear this music over and over, good times.
This was the loader on Batman the movie....one of my favourite games of all time....awesome music....i still use my c64 and amiga today....my xbox 360 just sits there gathering dust...have no idea why i bought it...These were the days....superb. Thanks for uploading!!!
@danwillingham In Stockholm/Sweden there is a monthy club called Syntax Error that only plays "chiptunes". I'm unable to post a link but search for "Syntax Error Stockholm".

I had a Disk drive, so never heard these loading tunes

Oh well. Having the faster 1-minute loads was worth it though
