and shadow never had parents unless you count maria and that docter guy (dam i forgot his name!), but they were killed as well, and i think that was shortly after he was created. He only follows his own instincts and not much else.

That's because he's the ultimate being, dimwat. Plus, he's over 50 years old and is immortal. Tails on the other hand, had a high IQ, and two tails, sure he can fight, and maybe survive on his own, but what will he do? He has to have someone to be around, like shadow and rouge are sometimes together. (mostly, actually)But it doesn't mean they have a romantic relationship. Just like sonic and Tails, both of which are pretty good friends, but it doesn't mean either of them are gay.

well he is 50 phisically not mentaly (well he should be, that could be seen as a plot hole but it depends on who you are) coz he was frozen for those 50 years, and yes he is the ultimate being which brings me to the point where shadow is better, no offence. and the thing with me and my friends calling tails and sonic gay is just a joke (not that theres anything wrong with being gay)
