I loved the Lambrettas, a true Mod band. All the other bands were Ska influenced and not particularly Mod. The Lambrettas, Squire, The Merton Parkas and Secret Affair kept the Mod spirit going.

It was in reply to the previous posting which was about Buster Bloodvessel.....I know he was in Bad Manners, I saw them. I also saw the Lambrettas as I lived near Brighton in the early 80s. It was meant as a joke....a take on the football chant that was doing the rounds at the time
