  • I use Robin Hood Basic White Bread, small loaf recipe, it is good!

  • how long is the does it take?

  • ewwwwwwwww dude clean your kitchen before you make a video especially a food video

  • Tried it on a bread man tr 444 and it worked well. thanks

  • Thanks for the video! I have the same bread machine but it's called a welbilt but the manuals refer to the DAK model, I guess they had a name change, last night I baked my first home-made bread using your recipe and it came out pretty good except I didnt have any oil so I had to use butter. Im glad you posted this video b/c the manual said to used 1 1/2 TB of dry skim milk but i didnt have any

  • I like the time-lapsed photography--it's fun to watch!

  • The beauty of the DAK bread machine was that you could miss the order of ingredients or even use incorrect measurements and it will still make a good loaf of bread. That's what they wrote in the original DAK catalog back and the 80s and I put it to the test many times. I've got a loaf going now where I out in too much water and yeast (at the same time) and I'm not sweatin' it! Going to bed now and letting it do the work!

  • at 5:25, you can see the face of elvis in the dough.

  • you said 1.5 table spoons of sugar. Are you sure it isn't 1.5 tea spoons? It doesn't look like table spoons in the video.

  • Well I just tried it with 1.5 tbl spoons and it looks like its not sticking together...

  • 1. copy and paste

    2. send this to 9 other videos.

    3. hold your breath for 10 seconds

    4. press refresh twice

    3. LOOK AT YOUR BACKGROUND IT WILL BE FREAKY

  • Great info. Camera was a little off at the very end...but no problem. We just got one, very excited and grateful for the video. Just want to know...when are you doing cinnamon raisin bread? and wheat? and cake? and zuchinni bread? and banana bread... but really. excited for more.

  • it made me hungry now :P

  • Great suggestions but I would suggest that you add all the ingredients outside of the machine and then put the container in the machine. You don't want to risk having those ingredients wet or dry come in contact with the heating element below.

  • Unfortunately this model has a open-bottom mixing container as I show in the setup video. So you can't add the ingredients to the container outside the machine or they go through the sizeable hole in the bottom...

There is actually quite a good deal of room around the heating element. If you should get a small bit of flour or a raisin or two down there it won't have any adverse effect.

  • This person is articulate and informative. I just wish he would of cleaned his kitchen. It was distracting and disgusting. Thanks for the info though.

  • C'mon, that's just rude.

  • Explain to me why my comment is rude. Am I the only person that cooks in a clean kitchen. I thought my comment was quite complimentary.

  • @kimmerah1 YES a clean kitchen is a happy kitchen!!!

  • I agree! I noticed that also.

  • my kitchen is messy or untidy.

  • I'm a single male. It looks fine to me.

  • I love you. You are the BEST. My boyfriend and I are grateful. Thanks for the yeast update. this will be our trial bread.

  • you didn't tell how much yeast to put in ...

  • I never noticed that before! It's 1.5tsp of yeast.

  • Thank you so much for taking the time to video how to do this for those without a manaul great Job Ronie from Cedar City Ut

  • This is very useful. I'm going to go try my machine again right now.
