My favourite vampire movie and (vampire)actor !!! Unfortunately the 2011 remake is disappointing... it has some good moments and ideas... but I did expect a 1:1 remake. Mr. Farrell would have been a good choice for a young 2011 Jerry... he is very close to the original character and acting – but – where are those intense close-up scenes!?! IMHO waste of talent and possibilities.

PS: To be honest, I still would like to see the "old" Chris Sarandon in a sequel or even the remake 2011 as Jerry!!

There are many actors who are jaded by their careers and I would salute this man making that video message at such a time where he shown his devotion to his sick mother. fright Night is one of my all-time FAVE horror movies! You guys in the States are soooo lucky for getting screenings like that - shame it's not like that in the UK!
