thats a Goal, hes not diving into the net with the ball, so the diving arguement goes away, and no part of his body touches the crease before the ball crosses the line, same case goes with possible Goaltender Interference
@daflyingkiwifilms no a crease dive is legal if the ball crosses that line in the goal BEFORE you land in the crease which happened in this video so all of you who say no goal u suck dick at lacrosse..give up lol
nope, that used to be the rule... but it was changed a while ago. "if the player propels himself into the crease regardless of whether he has made contact with the keeper, keepers stick or goal itself, there is no goal " BAM! directly from the rule book. Also I was a 2nd string midfielder on my school's varsity squad as a freshman this year! So think twice before you diss troll. (:
i said this before but here i go again. this is directly out of the NCAA rule book (idk about the MCLA but I think its the same)
"if the player propels himself into the crease regardless of whether he has made contact with the keeper, keepers stick or goal itself, there is no goal "
That was the easiest one of these things i've seen. ITS A GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I believe your own momentum is not allowed to carry you in to the crease anymore, a rule created to help protect the goalie. If that is the case, then that is a crease violation regardless of when his hand hit the ground.
why did the ref take the defensemans stick?
mrdetnation 4 months ago
@mrdetnation The refs often check the goal scorer's stick and then some random defenders stick at the same time.

@27blax nah the rule is tht the ball has to cross the line inn the goal before making contact with anything in the crease or landing in it SMD
27blax 8 months ago
@daflyingkiwifilms not in college, as long as you are not diving towards the goalie... way to know your rules
