this is one of the cutest holland lops I have ever seen. I can't stop watching your videos of this cutey. you are lucky to have such an affectionate and trusting bunny :)
Hahaha I see this SO much with Hollands! They are really affectionate! My rabbit hates being held or touched, so I only hold her when I have to trim her nails which sucks because she's so cute and I love her so much.
rabbits are smart. I had a rabbit when I was a kid, he would help me do my homework when I'm too tired. But these days, they rabbits are no long that smart due to the diet and pollution.
This is so cute i recently discovered when i scratch my rabbits back, he begins to groom and when im done he will lick my hand in return of the favor. Rabbits in general do that to help groom others as they so did to him. Adorable bunny.
Every time I see Oreo I am amazed at his head, He's a beauty. Sure has changed a lot since you first got him. As I recall he wasn't that friendly at first. Hollands are incredible bunsters.
He does have a cute head haha, and, yes, he did change alot, I think mainly I learned how to treat a rabbit and since then he had gain much more trust in me. It's feels amazing to have a bunny cuddle with you!
I think the big noggin is what makes the Hollands so appealing. Mog also has a pumpkin head. It's gigantic and very round, like Oreo.
I know exactly what you mean about how amazing it it to have a prey animal trust a human. Mog is totally fearless as are many rabbits (although many are not). People think they are all pushovers but that is not true at all. Mog is incredibly affectionate but strangers venturing in out home have to toe the line or else.
That is part of the problem with rabbits. They are not like hamster but many people think they are. They shove them in little cages and treat them like a white mouse. They no more belong caged than a dog but they are more complex than dogs. Rabbits often get bought on impulse and then the person finds out they have more on their hand than they thought. Then they dump them. You know what I mean. It's important to educate people to what rabbits are actually like.
that is true, they have a really different way of handling than rodents or dogs...it is important to think twice before getting that cute rabbit. It is probably not stressed enough how different rabbit personalities are.
Just like a diggy dog! I used to have a Boxer and they love to rest their squishy faces on people just like that. Hounds do too.
