come on those guys are not wrestlers, they hardly knew basic steps. An no true martial arts was used against them no true form or technique. What I do give this guy is he stood calm under pressure which allowed him to win. This is something that should be respected in his training.

@TheEidolon7 ive competed for 25 yrs in combat sports ,15 in grappling and thats some of the worst so called wrestling ive ever seen .The ninja just used very poor sport grappling to survive.
@scarred10 Hooray for you? Why not give some constructive criticism then if you are such an expert? Why do you U.F.C. fanboys always feel the need to prove your badassness? A bit of traditional style values and honor might do you some good.
Havens...yeah thats the guy that hit me in the sternum damn it!!! Your lucky the wreslters didn't know much about their great art or they would've snapped you liek a little twig! Ha HA HA!
let me get this straight. A ninja beat wrestlers using common wrestling techniques. This means ninjitsu is better? Isn't the whole "ninjitsu" part kinda missing here?
@specialforces69 That sad part is that if EVERY Takamatsu-den dojo trained with aliveness, they'd have more of a leg to stand on. Now, it's not always the case, because there are some VERY great taijutsu schools, even by MMA standards. However, they are about 10-20%. (And that's just being nice)
that hippie is pure useless, this is a novice division obviously so youll get lads whove only trained a few months in it.Unless he starts training in a submission grappling school he has zero chance of doing anything in grappling comps or mma.
to call that a ninja is an insult and to whoever made this crap koto ryu is a stand up battlefield art and the technique you refer to requires a stunned opponent and to use it like that on a wrestler in a fight with no striking is moronic
First of all, the pre fight story is untrue. The line "Some day I will fight in the Kumite and make my father proud," was taken from the film Bloodsport starring Jean Claude Van Damme. Shidoshi Tanaka's son says it to a young Frank Dux in the movie. See the movie for verification of this if you don't believe me. Second, this doesn't look like a real, desperate fight for life to me. It looks to me as though the wrestler isn't trying very hard and is short on technique.
@josedaniel157 definately, this is like yellow belt level for the gracie's(x and this "ninja" is stupid, wrestling is very limited in submission, go to judo, if you can handle that, bjj, if that, then go to gracie
the second video looks similar to the shinden fudo ryu kata "fubi." When Its done correctly it isn't necessary to push with the feet though. All the bujinkan people below 1st dan dress exactly like him.
All martial arts from around the world have one thing in common, they were developed for war and self defence. the difference is with the practitioner, does the practitioner want to be a good competitor and learn the rules of competition for rank and titles like in the UFC, or does the practitioner want to be good at self defence and survival. one cannot teach the other, it depends on the goal of the practitioner
the young Jin is to be commended for his grit and his victories. But if you play the other persons game and play by sport rules you are greatly handicapped. I have witnessed this time and time again. Ninjutsu guys getting the crap beat out of them because they put on boxing gloves and step into a bunch of restrictions that they are unfamiliar with. In a TRUE WAR ART there's only 1 rule -WIN! Next time think"KILL" instead of "PLAY FAIR."
@superbrainification The movies have made the Ninja to look like they were mostly assasins. They were people outside the Bushido clans who learned war arts from certain mountain ascetic priests that was passed down, expanded on and made adaptable to their needs. The idea of wearing the black shinobi is laughable. We had to learn the'7 WAYS OF GOING" by developing 7 different disguises and you had to know things about each profession to make it believable. Few people train in true Ninpo today
@DhuTurlough well i was under the impression that the first ninjas were physicians and that ninjutsu is more on targeting vital points and joints. The martial art that aims to deal death; ignoring all the flashy exhibition stuff. And from discovery channel i learned that the ninja has perfect balance compared to any other than any other martial artist. I guess the movies weren't completely wrong is depicting ninjas as assassins.
@TheSteppingup My family has a huge background in Spec.Ops. Brothers, cousins and friends. My background is in war arts. I have trained in 11 different styles of martial arts in 36 yrs. including 2 schools of Ninpo. In their day the ninja was a sort of Spec.Op.warrior in that they were not bound by the code of Bushido they were free to do what needed to be done. They were often deployed on solo missions, by themselves,to spy, blend in as a local for future deployment or of course assasinate.
@DhuTurlough I don't remember asking for a history lesson or your personal life story. It seems that what you mean to say is: "In a way, but there are some differences between the two that I will now point out".
@mitsuhide1vampire thats only true if you're talking about bujinkan school. Cause there are schools authorized and authenticated by Mr. Masaaki Hatsumi that use more belt colors. I train in one of those. We have same number of kyu's though.
Both sucked. The Ninja didn't do anything but some school yard choke and the "wreslter" didn't know how to shoot and couldn't get out of a simple headlock. He is getting choked and he is reaching back for the leg?????
@Mrjustinqqq I actually did if you read, you're uneducated for not reading that and automatically assuming he was a ninja. That just shows so much stupidity
@Mrjustinqqq I'm pointing out that the poster claimed this guy was aninja for wearing a black gi. I KNOW this guy. He isn't a judoka he's a jiu jitsu fighter, he has taken submission wrestling since then (after this video), he does NOT know ninjutsu. So this claim is bullshit and trying to defend a bullshit claim makes you look a lot less credible and educated
@Mrjustinqqq What are you a moron? That guy is Jiu jitsu fighter, IT rained with him. This video is used out of context to show that he's a ninjutsu fighter. Btw I don't care if you get pussy or not.
Amazing that "you" won the match. If you are a checkers player... and the best there is... don't go playing chess against a chess grandmaster with your checkers knowledge.

LOL at the swiping of poorly executed BJJ techniques and claiming they are from the Buj. LOL at the poster trying to pretend he was fighting "wrestlers".
gi choke? it must of been a mixed submission match... i really don't think in the streets your going to be wearing your gi and choke out someone.
and wrestlers arn't trained to deal with gi's... but BJJ fighters should have a better time against ninjutsu, i've always seen ninjutsu as a balanced art... its not advantagious in either striking or submission but rounded in general.
shame the ninja did not cary on with the heal to the chest kick, and then the heal to the nut,s kick, push of and role...... back :) ow, this is sport! lol :) good vid, all arts are good please stop the fuss......
Good job man! I've been training in Ninjutsu awhile now and i noticed that there were MANY things you could have done that of course, wouldn't have been very nice lol. Just remember, there ARE rules on the mats so be carfull, don't hurt anyone lol. I've trained in 16 arts and have black belts in 4 of them and it's fun to play around with different sport arts but not much because I've had too much war arts shoved in me to be carfull anymore. MMA guys are lots of fun to show out lol. Good luck.
@Berry2be Are you serious? the Ninjutsu guy had the wrestler in a guillotine choke, it could have easily been the other way round. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a Ninjutsu practitioner that could defeat an MMA fighter. All those fancy moves and small joint locks don't work in a real fight. That's why MMA is so popular because it takes the best aspects of fighting styles and puts them together instead of using fancy moves that are just going to get your ass kicked.

@FIABFOS false because most of the mma moves can get countered very easy in a streetfight ive seen it happen plus most of the time its not real mma its just some wrestling juijitsu or however its spelled and some boxing or kickboxing/muay thai
@FIABFOS Its easy to do a wrist lock after you have crushed your opponents testicles. Here is a fancy bujinkan training routine. Do 20 push ups on the point of your thumbs. Punch into things with the point of your thumbs. Then when a fancy fighter tries a silly headkick, you can jam your thumb through their throat. "MMA" is popular because the techniques require little cultivation to perform, the macarena of martial arts.
