No, you are right, there are a few instances where I do go slightly off-key.

It's just a bit hard to get a perfect take because I cannot cut and paste different videos together, I need to create it all in one go and in order to choose the best video to post, I have to make some compromises sometimes.

Hey, I played this one by ear. I actually recently tried looking for the sheet music for missy higgins and I couldn't find any!

so yea, all my music from her is done by ear. And usually in a different key too, to suit my vocal range better

u've got it spot on there, its a few keys lower, because it suits my vocal range more. i couldnt reach the higher keys in the original key.
