Methadone is a disassociative, its in the same family as MXE PCP Dyphenhydrammine, you look like you weigh 100 pounds so your probably on 300 mg tabs not the full 750MG average dose. Teylenol wont get you high just kill your liver and make you need a dialisis machine the rest of your life. I used to sell Methadone in highschool, its addictive and gets you high.

Summer, Marijuana is the way to go. Its the best high out there. i would rather be high on marijuana than any other drug. But pills arnt the way to go. Trust me just smoke some fire weed and u will see.

I kicked a 2 bundle a day dope habit back in '08 and, besides an occasional (prescribed) klonopin, I've remained clean. It is incredibly difficult; I initially got clean for my family, but then finally had some sort of epiphany and stayed clean for myself. It took a year of isolation besides therapy everyday to cut myself off from the people I associated with- that, I strongly believe, is key to long lasting sobriety. Good luck.

this is for the addicts. DON'T use methadone or suboxone. both are worse than the dope, n methadone withdrawl is less dramatic, but lasts for months. i JUST did my last shot, n just thinking about this is giving me butterflies. im loaded up on weed n xanax (i never do xanax), so i hope i can stay stoned n sleep through most of the next 3 or 4 days. feel free to pray for me, anyone so inclined. i was on methadone for 3 years, used heroin to kick it. that was june. now its dec. wish me luck!
@summmer138 doing better, finally. still not sleeping good though, that part sucks bad, but it's nice having $ again.... methadone was 150/week, so it was a decent chunk gone every week. the xanax helped the withdrawl, i would recommend it, but after a few days doing the xanax, the first couple without are kinda intense. how are you doing?

Methadone is the absolute WORST thing i've ever done. Good luck getting off that shit cuz,like one of the other commenters said, ITS A SCAM.I can promise you that you'll be more addicted to methadone than you ever were herion or whatever other opiate you were taking. I was on a max dose of 130mg/day of methadone before kicking it cold ass fuckin turkey(due to Hurricane Katrina) and it was the worst and longest amount of pain i've ever experienced. Its just a legal way of staying high
Methadone is a complete trap,if you need off opiates use cannabis for 3-5 days,the withdrawals will be non-existant, you will be able to eat again while withdrawling&afterwards you wont be addicted to a different drug. Then all you gotta do is deal with the phsycological side & if you ever get strong desires for opiates just use a small amount of cannabis again. Sooner or later your body will get use to doing everything without them&your urges will fade,cannabis is nonaddictive unlike methadone.
My girlfriend and I were addicted to Xanax for a little over 2 years. Although I've completely stopped, it pains me to see her slowly kill herself with this drug. I've been sober over 6 months now, and now only take Citalophram (Celexa 20mgs, NON-addictive).

@summmer138 I was addicted to heroin and methadone for 15 years. It really sucked and I almost lost my life several times. A few friends died and I decided to finally get clean. That was 5 years ago and I'm still doing great. Good for you and keep it up! I used Suboxone for two years to wean myself down. I admit it took me a long time, but the trick is to go slow..

@jyatzy123 tylenol helped AFTER the 7 days of hell in the kinda hell. ur right i would have thrown it right bck up...but gabapentin for some reason took away those withdrawals but not for smoking does not help if you smoke it. trust me i know what it means to be addicted and I too am now sober thanks to methadone...but i am still on methadone...trading one drug for another diff is I can be monitored i have a counselor & can be cut down normal life again almost thank god
@summmer138 Good luck. I have been on Subutex since the 5 city trials in 2004 or 2005 idr. I started on 4 8mg and now I take a half od an 8 mg but this is as low as I go. I will be taking them forever. I know what I'll become if I get off of them
@TAMPATLBLACK Don't really like Subutex; you have to bust 8mg tabs up your nose to feel them, and it really stings. Buprenorphine is better for headaches, ha.
@zeroTJseven You are confused. Subutex is Buprenorphine lol. I get the Generic Subutex and on the bottle it does not say Subutex. It says Buprenorphine. 8mg is the strongest they make. Most doctors do not like to prescribe it due to being able to shoot it. Subutex do not have the Naloxone in it like Suboxone do.
@TAMPATLBLACK I don't think you understood my comment properly; I mentioned buprenorphine at the end, as you quite rightly stated, buprenorphine is the name of the substance; Subutex is a brand-name. And for me personally, sucking an 8mg tablet, or placing it under my tounge doesn't reduce any cravings, it only gets rid of my headaches. If I crush and snort one, only then can I feel the effects. See?
@zeroTJseven I was a decade+ Heroin IV user. Subutex work. I have never shot em. They do not get me high. If some light-weight, or someone with no opiate addiction takes even a quarter of an 8mg, they will puke & be fucked up in space lol. It takes a few days of everyday use of Subutex for your body switch from addicted to Heroin(the strongest opiate) to the Subutex pills. Once it happens, you are golden! You can still party on weekends and get high but never be sick again.
@TAMPATLBLACK A decade is a long-ass time to be high, I bet you've seen a lot change. I know a lot of people who are dead, or have lost thier lives (but still living) to IV. I let a girl mate of mine sniff an 8mg Subutex tab with me, she was throwin up for nearly 3 days, she only had 2 lines, I thought she was gonna die man. I only use Subutex as a last resort, I use opium daily though, and I don't think I ever wanna give it up. Long story, but it helps me. Peace out.

I found out something interestin.... there are claims when taken before your opiate by 1-2 hour,it makes the opiate stronger ore more powerful in some way. @Usmcspartan420 Neurontin can turn your face into a roadmark of melatonin blemishes. As a female on it for bipolar disorder, it worked great, but no foundation could help cover how horrible my face ended up looking. Xanax isn't bad. Switch to klonopin and wean off of that instead. No huge issue there.

gabapentin actually is addicting or can be physically addicting in some people, withdrawals from it can be bad, as in my case. obviously not as addiciting as some other drugs. and even moreso, the other form og gabapentin (lyrica) is more apt to be taken and abused than gabapentin. lyrica you could take 450mg and be high off that, it's quite euphoric
@marijuana2424 methadone can be even more addicting than percs, it just doesn't get you as high. It isn't the best choice out there. That gaba pentin stuff is not a bad idea, another one out there is buprenorphin. Methodone also really, really rots out the teeth. Who knows why, but there it is.

i took gabapentin, clonidine and loads of valium to get clean after being on a low methadone dose. i've never had a benzo problem so it was great being off my head and feeling good while i went through withdrawal :-D
Gabapentin is pretty easy to get high on, the pills can get pretty high in mg, and people are often prescribed for more than one a day. But other than that, yes; it's non-addictive and it is a great agent in helping withdrawals from painkillers and benzos. (It does however connect to the same receptors in the brain as xanax, klonopin, etc.)
@Makod01 I'm prescribed it myself and it's a great way to avoid having to take those extra klonopin during the day. I also don't crave opiates when on it anymore.
if you did quit then good for you. it's a hard road, i know first hand. a few things i learned: get into NA. it's changed my life. please recognize the fact that you are an addict whether you are currently using or not. you can't wake up one day and just be better. it's a constant battle we have to fight for the rest of our lives, there will be set backs but it does get easier. get a good strong support system to surround yourself with, NA can help you with that. @EhBlehmeh well i did quit benzos december but I do actually have panic attacks I quit xanax back in december and was completly sober for months than started doing opiates and got addicted. crazy thing is I went back to get my xanax script a few months ago and only take it AS NEEDED I ahve no deisre to get high of of it and when the month is over my script isn't used up. I tried NA and i didn't work for me. When you are ready to quit you are ready to quit and some people are never ready to quit

Methadone is the absolute WORST thing i've ever done. Good luck getting off that shit cuz,like one of the other commenters said, ITS A SCAM.I can promise you that you'll be more addicted to methadone than you ever were herion or whatever other opiate you were taking. I was on a max dose of 130mg/day of methadone before kicking it cold ass fuckin turkey(due to Hurricane Katrina) and it was the worst and longest amount of pain i've ever experienced. Methadone is a complete trap,if you need off opiates use cannabis for 3-5 days,the withdrawals will be non-existant, you will be able to eat again while withdrawling&afterwards you wont be addicted to a different drug. Then all you gotta do is deal with the phsycological side & if you ever get strong desires for opiates just use a small amount of cannabis again. Sooner or later your body will get use to doing everything without them&your urges will fade,cannabis is nonaddictive unlike methadone.

Most doctors do not like to prescribe it due to being able to shoot it. Subutex do not have the Naloxone in it like Suboxone do.

If some light-weight, or someone with no opiate addiction takes even a quarter of an 8mg, they will puke & be fucked up in space lol. It takes a few days of everyday use of Subutex for your body switch from addicted to Heroin(the strongest opiate) to the Subutex pills. Once it happens, you are golden! You can still party on weekends and get high but never be sick again.

gabapentin actually is addicting or can be physically addicting in some people, withdrawals from it can be bad, as in my case. obviously not as addiciting as some other drugs. and even moreso, the other form og gabapentin (lyrica) is more apt to be taken and abused than gabapentin. lyrica you could take 450mg and be high off that, it's quite euphoric

Gabapentin is pretty easy to get high on, the pills can get pretty high in mg, and people are often prescribed for more than one a day. But other than that, yes; it's non-addictive and it is a great agent in helping withdrawals from painkillers and benzos. (It does however connect to the same receptors in the brain as xanax, klonopin, etc.)

if you did quit then good for you. it's a hard road, i know first hand. a few things i learned: get into NA. it's changed my life. please recognize the fact that you are an addict whether you are currently using or not. you can't wake up one day and just be better. it's a constant battle we have to fight for the rest of our lives, there will be set backs but it does get easier. get a good strong support system to surround yourself with, NA can help you with that.
