  • Why there is a little echo when he talks if the room it´s super aislated with that studio foam?

  • plissss no esta en castellano ???

  • qwotter inch inputs wth milky

  • Somebody @ WMS...this video is too damn "dark"...buy some light bulbs ...

  • very nice prezentation.

  • as soon as he said quatter, I gave up on taking anything he said seriously

  • Hi Mr Sanborn May I make a suggestion? Change the title of your video by removing the word "Demo" because you are not demonstrating the product but merely describing it. it would be better for behringer and world music supply (i.e. their sales) if you could set the whole thing up and show us just what the product can do.

P.S. I don't care about your pronunciation of certain words, unlike certain morons that don't know how to make constructive criticisms.

  • WorldMusicSupply - the worst possible reviews, couldn`t be more boring in all aspects. Amazing ! How they achieve that ?? That`s the talent .

  • I like this mixer

  • I prefer the Behringer effects over other mixers effects - I own Mackie, Tapco, and Allen Heath also. Just my preference I guess (and audiences).

  • what's the diffirence between main mix and alt 3-4 ?

    what is alt 3-4 ?

  • all your videos are just telling us what the buttons do, NOT ONE attempt was made at actually helping viewers out who may be using a PC or a laptop and you showing them HOW to connect everything up. what a useless video...i will never buy from you

  • @pirell its about what the mixer offers, not how to use it...

  • all your videos are just telling us what the buttons do, NOT ONE attempt was made at actually helping viewers out who may be using a PC or a laptop and you showing them HOW to connect everything up. what a useless video...

  • so there are 4 xlr mic inputs and then 4 quarter inch inputs below those. lets say u have 8 mics to record drums, can u put 4 in the xlr and then have 4 going into the quarter inch inputs?

  • I've used the Behringer Xenyx 1204FX now for 2 years - almost daily gigs - fantastic mixer - built solid. Awesome effects - especially like #80 (chorus reverb) for vocals.

  • @RedEyeC i like 4 and 88 in different conditions.

  • I HAVE THIS MIXER...I'M USING AUDACITY CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF ITS POSSIBLE TO MIXDOWN MY TRACKS WITH THIS MIXER AND HOW?????

  • when the +48v light is on what does that mean??

when am recording and have the phantom power only the L side lights i see goes up and down... the R side lights does not move

  • @HIYAHLINKZ How about you look up something called "pan" and "phantom power"?

  • when the +48v light is on what does that mean??

  • @HIYAHLINKZ MATE YOU NEED TO SWITCH THE PHANTOM POWER OFF QUICKLY, it could blow ur amp to pieces and then the amps chips will blow ur speakers and players before u can say jebus

  • lol love the random tree in the room.

  • Why did you jump/zoom back and forth? We only need the mixer on the screen, not the guy.

  • can i use this to sing in a band with

  • Oh my gos...thank you very much for your incredible review on KNOBS!

You fucking waste of space on the web! World Music Supply my ass...you would have explained the soundboard better if you just farted all the way from the beginning to the end of the vid.

  • @thehornypuppy

shut the fuck up you retard

these are very good mixers actually

  • @redline601 I'm so sorry i hurted your feeling and that you don't know how to fucking read....pussy.

  • @thehornypuppy

    Yes I can read idioit

You yanks can t concentrate on these kind of lessons that s the problem..

The guy is trying his best to explain to musicians with a little intelligence

unfortunatley this does not cater for everybody.

  • @redline601 Oh well...it's good to know i can pass for a Yankee...because it so happens i'm mexican you racist motherfucker. And yeah he explained the controls on the mixer rather but never DEMOED it...the video is titled under DEMO. I know the mixer...i HAVE EYES. And i've used this mixer before. 5 months ago i was looking for a multi mix, multi track, usb interface. Hence my comment...CLREARLY, you don't know how to read.

  • @thehornypuppy i dont mean to be an ass, but yankee has nothing to do with racism, therefor there was no racial remarks, so he is not racist. Even if he called u a nigger or beaner, he wouldnt be racist. to be racist u have to say something like " he steals things because he a beaner." as in he accuses u for doing something because ur race. So u had a really nice insult there, buddy.

  • @dustin102432 Actually your definition of Rascist or rascism is not quite accurate. The world english dictionary defines it so: 1. the belief that races have distinctive cultural characteristics determined by hereditary factors and that this endows some races with an intrinsic superiority over others

    2. abusive or aggressive behaviour towards members of another race on the basis of such a belief

Therefore you can be a rascist just by calling someone a "beaner" as you so eloquently put it.

  • @thehornypuppy umm....what did you want him to say you fucking retard? he explained everything perfectly. Just because you dont understand what each knob means doesnt mean that you should troll

  • @klavestorm11 Who doesn't know what the knobs do? And what did he say that can't be discerned by just looking at it? The mixer is a very basic one...and if you can READ you can just tell what pre fader or post means. Also panning...if anything you would want this mixer for is the fact that "is" USB...and where in this review did he covered that? And the mixer isn't usb on itself...what you get is a little gadget that turns RCA to USB...and software you can get for free in the web.

  • does any else use these as a real band mixer?

  • the stereo part can be used for djing???

  • just a quick question :$

if i connect this mixer to my mac and open logic am i going to see seperate inputs and am i going to have a digital multitrack recording. ? I mean while three instruments play together .

  • question! how many mics can you plug into this? cuz i need atleast 7 mic inputs to record drums

  • kinda ironic that theres horrible sound in a sound booth.

  • Not a Demo. Only a SALES review.

  • Fuck,i remember i bought the 1202fx i should have got this one,it looks like it has more capability's.

  • ok can anyone tell me if this is suitable to run an output of a pc sound card and a few drum/ synth machines?

  • is this a good mixer for home recording of guitar etc. ?

  • @nexlon

    hi,

in my humble opinion, it should be judged as a well good enough apparatus for guitarists, even though an extra mic -line preamp would be appreciated

  • this comes with a audio interface, can someone tell me if it can be used with protools. From what I understand protools will scan for hardware. Or do I have to buy a Mbox? message me thanks

  • Vista can detect this mixer using the supplied USB Interface. In what I've experienced, My Adobe Audition detected it with no extra steps and procedure...

Even Yahoo Messenger can detect your condenser MIC attached to this MIxer and can also be use for voice chatting... HEHEHHE

  • may i use this console with nuendo 3 or

pro tools or adobe audition 3 conected to my

    usb port?

  • does thi have a usb port? or a connotion to it?

  • @JordanWieber yes, it has a conversor to usb... I bought this1024fx today...

  • The package include one UControl USB Interface

  • I bought this recently but i can not be able to connecting witn my mac. I did it using de u-control - uca200 operating manual but it doesnt work. I have a mac book pro, presonus interface. I need someone to give me a hand to do it, thank you

  • Im not familiar with a MAC but a PC surely detects it as soon as I plug it...

  • Is this is a worth of buying?I heard that BEHRINGERS are not good. But this looks really nice:)

  • BEHRINGER is a consumer level mixer.. but it can be relied on.. I have this mixer and it's really OK

  • use the effects for fucks sake

  • can someone tell me what's the PAN and BAL knobs for??

  • pan is what speaker left or right you want the sound to come out and bal is balance

  • the PAN and Balance is use to control where do you want the Audio Signal to output... If its in the Center... it will give you a balance left and right level (use stereo headphones). If you turn it far clockwise... it will output audio signal only to your right channel... and far counterclockwise to your left channel.

You can use this if you are recording Main Vocal with back-up Vocal to give your recording some style and 180 degrees ambiance

  • can anyone explain to me why the 5 and 6 inputs are together but the first four are by themselves

  • because the first 4 is mono channels and the 5/6 and 7/8 is stereo channes

  • nope... the first four are the stereos... and the 5/6 7/8 are monos each. you need to input two Jacks there for left and right channel

  • lol, 5/6 and 7/8 are STEREO. there's TWO MONO INPUTS = stereo.

  • lolol quatter inch inputs.

  • @Dodgyasdf agreed, lol

  • @Dodgyasdf I heard QUADDAR?? LOL!!

  • THIS IS A DEMO????? you kiddin me right.

  • i've watched it all through but i miss the demo kinda thing. just holding it in your hands and talking about t is not really a demo, is it?

  • I have a pre usb BEHRINGER EURORACK MX 802A Mixing Console. Is there a firewire or usb device I can get to connect this to my laptop or do I need it?

    Thanks!

  • @webstercat try behringer UCA202

  • ma vaffanculo parla in italiano che magari c'è capisco qualcosa...

  • alright can you only hear the mixing board when you record through it?

  • haaaaaaaaa por favor legenda em portugues..........

  • I wanna know how to connect the mixer to a laptop to record some rock tracks, can somebody help me?

  • the mixer has a interface ( usb conection ) you have to use in your lap top

  • u need the bundled UControl USB Interface to do that

  • Are there USB input/outputs? Where can you buy it?

  • it's already included if you buy the 1204FX

  • i wanna start home studio for like hiphop n shit etc, so basically mic will be the only input.

how would i set this mixer up to my computer?

is it like, a straight usb directly from mixer to comp, and then the mic to the mixer?and do i NEED monitors? cant i jsut use my standard speakers? and once its setup and im ready to record, is there a acertain program for this mixer to record with or can i use anything?

  • if you only need a mic, you dont really need a mixer at all. you can get a good USB mic and record in any software you choose.

  • but we're talking about quality here dude... If you're contented with a USB Mic with no further functions such as:

    -Equalizers

    -Monitoring (listen while you sing),

    -Realtime effects

    - easy Output Level Adjusting

then, I will be happy to leave you alone...

    HAHAHA

  • hey hey...chill out pal :]

i wasn't talking about quality. the post i replied to said he wanted to get started recording, so i gave him the most basic, simple option. and, you can run equalizers, very low latency monitoring, realtime effects, and adjust output levels in any respectable DAW.

oh, and one more thing..... if you're glorifying a sub $200 mixer from behringer, quality isn't the first thing that comes to mind when you present your argument :]

peace out man...no hating intended :D

  • if its connected to your PC... you can use any recording applicaton like audition etc. to record and monitor audio tracks.

  • kwahter inch

  • Been using it for about a year. Easy mixer to get used to, and its usb connect is routed through stereo outputs on the mixer direct to usb to the pc.

The only problem Ive had is the driver for Vista and XP works when it wants to. I have found that I had to re-instal the driver many many times, which usually fixes the problem of no audio. But its a big pain in the ass.

  • cud u help me out cuz i got this mixer nd i cant figure it out

  • that's what happened ti me when I first bought it and I cant understand the manual... but what did I do? i Just press and press what can be pressed and found the proper set-up by myself... (by trying)

  • aw... Im a Vista and using the same mixer and connectors... but I never experienced reinstalling the drivers... if i unplug it, my vista uses my oprdinary USB mic... but if i plug it, it soon detects and switches to my Mixer Connector...

Im using Realtek High Definition Audio

  • Comment removed

  • i still dont see a usb connect?

  • is it a powered mixer

  • @1500231 ; nooooooop!

  • can you plug in a guitar directly or does it need to go to an amp first?

  • directly ;) a very cool mixer!

  • but only the normal sound :D , i think it doesnt work with guitars without a battery

  • hey, im thinking about buying my 1st mixer and have been researching them for a couple of months now, i want to connect it to my computer and work with Reason 4.0 and my Akai MPK49, any ideas which mixer will be good for me and compatable? thanks

  • hey guys what do you think about behringer dx 1000 is that a good mixer??

  • I believe it is stereo recording only. So what this means is you can live mix as many inputs as you like in the mixer but you can only record to stereo.

    Hope this helps.

    Shane

  • These mixers are great, I picked one up the other day and it did a great job live with my PA system. I also have two other behringer mixers and yes I've tried other brands but for the price and performance of these Xenyx they do a great job indeed!

  • can u record, for example, 4 mic inputs simultaneously into PC software and have each mic go into a seperate track on the PC??

atm my equipment can create a mix but it will only go into 1 track on the PC so i cant edit each one seperately after...just wondering whether to get this to solve my problem

    THANKS!

  • So do you need a separate power amp to have this board working or you can hook it up directy to a speaker?

  • For a PA you will need powered speakers for this to work. This is a passive non/powered mixer. Powered mixers generally suck :) (some good exceptions but get a good power amp or some quality powered speakers)

  • you will need a DI unit

  • Can you plug a guitar on it?

  • Good question. I'd like to know but nowhere says you can. So I'm left to assume that you can't. It seems equipment like this for a musical instrument is too good to be true.

  • You can into any mixer, Why not?

  • You can? I'm ignorant when it comes to equipment like this and it only talks about mics, so I wasn't sure. hah Do you just plug it into the 1/4 in. socket?

  • Yeah but look into buying a DI box to put it though to get a nicer quality.

Guitar -> DI box -> Mixer -> Computer or wherever

  • Ahh. Thanks a lot. Very helpful information. I always wondered what the purpose of a DI box was.

  • Its alight pal, im looking into building my own small studio. if you ever upload any songs youve written be sure to hit me up ill have a lisen.

  • For sure. I'll add ya

  • I'm kinda confused about tryin to learn about these recording mixers. I've got a line pod UX1 which I can get a great tone with and record with atm, does one of these decks help you change the tone and level after you've recorded it?

  • Not nessiscarily. You should just be able to plug the POD into the mixer and then do some basic EQ-ing and controlling before it enters the PC. I think there are some guitar effects built in, though your POD can already do them and then some. :P

  • is this good for DJ'ing? I'm thinking to use this for recording on my Mac and DJ'ing at the same time. Is this recomended? Anyone ? :)

  • quatter inch.... lol

  • ive got the behringer eurorack ub1204 fx - pro and the behringer u-control uca202 its all plugged in but dont seem to be working, does any1 know what to do?

  • can you take the main outputs into the input on a Behringer E1520 Eurolive Performer Series 15" 2-Way Speaker for vocals?

  • Comment removed

  • yes with the included USB iinterface.....

  • Very Good Mixerr!!

  • Gain...Knobs...Convenient...Aux...Solo...Shite...

  • So why is there no mention of the USB interface anywhere in the video if it comes with one? I don't see a USB in/out anywhere on the unit.

  • You have to buy it sepretly. Sorry about my english. I have brought a great package that came with everything. (but this is for solo artists just to say) The package is called "Podcastudio. Podcastudio Bundel with Firewire Interface" Its a really great deal, just brought one myself yesterday.

  • The USB interface comes with the Xenyx 1204FX (at least mine did) but it doesn't connect via USB on the mixer. Instead it is a USB audio device that you connect to your computer. The audio inputs on the interface are what connect to the mixer.

  • and you can output the audio to your computer if properly installed

  • WOW! thanks for showing me how completely and utterly crap behringer mixers are! Atleast i can rely on them to sound reliably flat and dead if i want my music to suck! Perfect for posting shit on myspace, youtube etc>>>

  • What is your problem with Behringer mixers? Do you have one of these or are you talking out your Axx? I use a behringer 48x8 channel recording console. Flat and dead? NOT. good Eq's, preamps, and are really great products for the money. Your rude and pointless comments show us all that you are the turd.

  • That was directed at cromlek by the way...

  • Great Come-Back Module19. I got a Xenyx802 Mix board, and i just wanna record "Hook/Chorus, Verse 1, Verse 2, Verse 3 and also Stacking Vocals/Background Voice". But on my mix board i have are only 4 Strips. What can i do? Would this mean i have to buy a new mix board? And also, what kind of recording software do you have? I have Ableton Live. I don't really get that program but still finding out it's features. Please reply back.

  • im new to drum mics and effects and stuff like that. is a few mics for my drums and a mixer all i need to record drums? someone help me out. thanks

  • I completely understand people wantint to buy this like other analog mixers if you knkow what your doing but, if your starting off, get a firewire interface it is SO much easier for beginners

  • is it compatible with windows vista? anything bad about it? How's the noise level when plugged in via usb?

  • so do i need an audio interface and can it work with cubase le

  • I want to buy this mixer but i dont knw how to plug it in to my laptop(pc) so i can have music from my itunes play while im streaming a live podcast in that same laptop can some help me thanks

  • it comes with a USB interface to plug right into your laptop's USB as an input

  • can i use this with pro tools 7.4?

  • Why would u want to do that ya dumb fuck?

Top of the line DAW being fed with a bottom of the barrel turd.

  • Take you buisness else where you Jerk!

  • Would it make since to purchase a mixer like this and a midi controller like the BCF2000, or would I only need one?

  • If I'm not mistaken that's GOLDMEMBER!!!

  • can you connect this to you computer

  • if you have a pre amp or a pc board that supports audio like you would use for protools hd

  • great video!!! thank you , i have a xenyx 1622 model , is that the same as this one?? if not please post some videos about it..thank you!

  • i also have one and i can say, man this is great, i use it to record with behringer mics (b2-pro, b1, and a C2 stereo match) and i`m very happy

  • Is this usable as Dj mixer as well as it doesn't have a real cross fader?

  • 1 word ---- fantastic

i've got this board and it's great.

I use it for my dj gigs, my band.

1 thing he didnt say, effect 87 is cool!!!!

really easy to use, great product. Build qulity is fantastic, the faders are nice and smooth.

    tom

  • hey i was thinking of getting one of these for my band just so we could record some singles our band is a four piece 2 guitars one keys we have a drummer and three mics how many piece is your band and would you recomend it 2 me?

    thanks Jon

  • hey

i'm willing to do a video on my mixer in the enviroment to show you how it's set up and how i've got everything going.

i think this mixer is ideal for you, but you may want one with more channels.

for recording, there is no recording feature in the board. but it does come with a USB device that i use with my Mac. I think it also works on PC's, but the mac recognised it as an audio device. and as long as you have a programe for recording then you will be fine.

    sorry for the slow reply

  • id appreciate that aye i ended up geting a 1222fx it should arrive this week be good to know how to use it haha although it seems pretty self explanatory

  • Do the video, pleaseeee!!! I´m spanish, sorry for my english!
