I had to play this last night, against my dad.

He said "The idea is, you have to leave it safe so your opponent doesn't have an easy pot." Now, I was a bit drunk, so I said "Bollocks to that". I hit the black very thinly indeed. It went in. My dad screamed! It's the luckiest shot I have ever played, I will never do it again. Haha

Thanks once again . I really appreciate the adviceof where to put the cue ball as I always used to put the white on the yellow spot, and even try to pot the black which is really tough with a trace of left hand side . Cheers J.R.
