I mean..Ladies! :) From what I know, Intel are generally better gaming and AMD are better for high memory intensive work like servers and video/audio production. 6 months ago I built new comp and I went for the AMD 9950BE (OCed to 3.6ghz) because I write and produce my own music profesionally using the new Cubase 5 and I haven't maxed the CPU. The other reason why I didn't go for Intel is, I don't like their business practiceses, they did get fined $1.45bill for cheating.

Did anybody notice Sam has no idea about Cross Fire or SLI. The 4870 X2 is not the best card or most expensive card. The GTX 295 takes both of those, specifically the Asus Mars. And, the best setup right now, also SLI. Not to mention that most games are nvidia optimized. nvidia>ATi
