Indian has many folk dances (Kathak, Kathakali, bharatnatyam, Tamasha, dhindi ,etc). all dances represent characters from Indian mythology and epics - Ramayana and Mahabharata. They have facial expressions and gestures too. They also represent ancient tales through dances. Hence all movements are by themselves (forget doing it while skating) extremely difficult!
When I first saw these two skating "Polovtsian Dances" in their first senior season, I thought they might suit an Eastern theme like this. I'm glad they finally came up with this style. It worked, and so naturally. I guess they have a lot of fun dancing to it as well.
The grading of levels has nothing to do with speed, just saying. Anyway, I understand what you mean, they surely need a lot of work to do with this fairly new dance. But this program is obviously better choreographed than their OD from last season.
It's only September, and it looks like they're trying to get all the movements down for now. D/W do this every year - they start out slow at the beginning of the season and add speed as the season progresses.
The whole dance looks slower than in the first video that was uploaded, but anyway, their edges are better now, and skating quality is better then at the FD.

I was right. When i'm looking for judges report their step sequence was graded at level 3 also in free dance. So they need improve that.

I on the other hand think this OD is definitely better than last one.

I think their first step sequence is definetely to slow. They're good but this original dance was worse than last one.

I think their edges are better than last season, they go big and deep edges in those steps, that might explain why they looked slower.
Also they skate very close together.

Well since 2009 worlds we all knew that speed is not everything. They obviously have more to work on than speed itself.

i agree, better edges and skating quality already bode well for this season, more so than speed.
