As I was there, shotting, let me explain exactly what's going on with that crowd. The thing is: SXSW Festival - where this was shot - starts in the morning in several venues accross Austin, during the whole day for 4 days. This was shot in the second day, but at 1am most of people gets exhausted. But still, this was the first song, the begining of the show. Still warming up. Check my other Boys Noize video!! :P

i was actually at this show; drove 300 miles to see it.

the crowd is very small; where this video is being taken is near the back. boys noize was the first dj set at this venue; bands before and after were electro-rock bands.

austin doesn't seem to be a town with a huge electro/electro-tech scene; it's more of crappy house/trance place (like the whole US). if they say that they "like electro", then it usually means their "electro" knowledge goes as far as daft punk and justice/ed banger records, and they're more electro-pop. the crowd was super weak when "wake up" played.
