By the way, people with 401k and IRA can roll it over to a self-directed 401k/IRA and invest it into physical gold & silver.

@143DREWID I hear you, nothing beats physical possession. But for those that don't want to liquidate their 401k, you might be surprised the protections from confiscations you can get. For more info google this: "open opportunity ira physical bullion"

Thanks, I bailed out my IRA in 2009.
Penalties were less, which in the long run for those who stay, will be irrelevant.
The surprise, may not be protection sadly enough.
Access to, and account transfered to "safer govt. assets" may be enacted.
I surely hope not.

Nicely done. That's pretty much how this will play out world wide I think. Many currencies will hyper inflate, others will be rendered almost useless, for who in the world will accept fiat after the up coming economic Armageddon? Tie it too gold....sure thing. Peg gold to all money created WORLD WIDE, that could be $100,000.00 oz gold. I see gold at no less then 20k. Silver at no less then 1k. But, that is just my gut speaking. Got Phyzz?
