Umm i know a couple japanese words...but the simple ones...like Hajimemashite,Konnichiwa,and,arigato..and like the other ones like Goodbye and goodbye when u will be coming back and when u come back and im really just wondering im not very use to this languge i want to know will this..like teach me what i need to know or should i just leave it alone....i dnt want to buy i game that will not be usefull :) please reply
This game initially has 1,000 lessons so it will certainly teach you a bit of basic, middle, and advance, although I hear that the Grammer is sort of off.
i was thinking of buying this game but need some info, does this game go through sentence structure and different verbs and that kind of stuff or is it just a dictionary to teach you words
Very cool review kairosan, I have a question: How would you describe the game? in terms of...for example, could you say: "I can either assist to a japanese teaching school or buy this game and learn japanese `cause there`s no diference between them", could you say that? or this game is like a very slight japanese teacher comparing them to real teachers? "...sorry for my english xD
This game would be a very good vteaching aide for Japanese, however, I wouldn't subsitute this software fully to learn the language because there are some skimpy grammical errors, but if you would like to brush up on some forgotting Japanese, then this would be a good game to ultilize.
Yes, I like the wide vocab the game has, but I think it's a little too skimpy on grammar at points...still, I like it. It's fun--a good supplement to my book and rosetta stone.:)
On grammar points, let's use the verb tenses. When first introducing the informal stuff, it gives you a bunch of verb tenses, and then says after "I hope that's not too confusing!" or something like that. Then it gives you a bunch of unconjugated verbs and says "Remember to try using these in sentences!" Umm...yeah...how??? But I may just be misunderstanding it.;/ And then there are the people who say it teaches 14 or 15 kana wrong...but I like the vocab and practice stuff. That's cool.:)
Great Video, im an intermediate japanese student and im thinking of buying the game, how advanced is the kanji on the game because i already know like 300 and i dont know whether the game would be any use to me
it reviews over 10,000 basic words used in daily Japanese, as for the Kanji, there are two things to be effiy torwards: 1. The Kanji and hirigana stroke order maybe be incorrect in this game, and number 2, it's best to stick to a traditional electronic Kanji dictionaray to look up more advance words with phrases since you aren't going to find this on the game other than searching for a single word wiht no further explaination.
Awesome review, Kairosan, btw, you should know if u have watch my videos I'm using an old school phat blue DS as well, and I'm proud of it. Fanboys would say DS phat sucks and DS Lite rules, screw the fanboys lol
Cool. I'm on Lesson 81. I have learned 100 kanji exactly on there. It's pretty good, but I don't like how it does some stuff, and there are some mistakes like in Stroke Order and other things. Good luck! (It's seriously addicting too.) Oh, btw, kairosan, if your name is Kyle, it should be "kairu" not "kairo". I've been having a good christmas actually. My grandma is visiting, and she's full Japanese, I've been practicing Japanese with her.
yeah, I have noticed this a while back, the mistakes, a few bugs and so. After getting through the pre schooler and middle school stat, u have actually learned about 1-2 grade level Japanese, NOT high school level, also, note how the credits reveal The Gaijins who helpoed with the structure of the Learning aide, except the native speaker.
does this game teach you the reading, writing, and meaning of kanji characters?
