How do you use the "Fine" dial on your DE 1103? I tried to use the DE1103 receiver and JVComm32 to receive weather maps on the boat and didn't get much progress.

I'm obsessed with sending images by sound waves. I've burned at least three 160 minute Red Book audio CDs worth of faxes, though with most CD players, the speed is off. I go outside and record the reception with my Grundig G5 SSB radio and the Sony ICD-BSX700 voice recorder. I learned C programming and now have Fax receivers running on both my Nintendo DS and my Sony PSP. I'm surprised I don't get near-fatal 3rd degree RF burns from my PC at 20' while its making a mess of the radio spectrum..
