The GTS is fast but the Boss 302r would hand it its ass. So would the lesser turnkey-racer Boss 302s. Same with the street legal Boss 302 Laguna Seca. Hell even the regular Boss 302 would pull away from the track day M3 GTS. That reg Boss 302 killed the reg M3 by 25 car length in just one lap. Fifth Gear & Autocar both only got a 4.4 second 0-62 from the GTS. About the same as a reg Mustang despite the GTS' extra HP. The GTS is obviously alot heavier than what BMW is saying.

The biggest mistake BMW is doing is that they use the same design for series 3 and M3, Series 5 and M5, series 6 and M6.....They should design the M cars from scratch although they are just improved version of the basic models....Thats perhaps the main reason as to why i would never choose an BMW M.

Some like and some dislike the behavior of a M model and others don't have the money or is not worth it for them. But if you place a standard coupe next to a m you see a lot of difference. Only the e36 M3 had the same looks on the outside than a normal coupe but all other M3 models didn't

As for appearance, you cant say they had different ones since a few spoilers dont actually change anything. BMW should have a whole new design behind the M series.

Ok I'm a big BMW fan I think it's a mindblowing car but it costs twice as much as the standard m3 and I think it's completely overprieced. I think modifying your standard m3 with aftermarket parts would make it probably even faster and better and it would be cheaper as well.

Plus i dont think the jb chip voids the warranty either...even if it does u can easily take it out when u go for checkups as ive heard.
