Aww, I know how you must have felt. I lost my Samwise last year, died in my arms (he was only about 5 1/2 years) and it was the same day when my nan died almost 6 years before him (3rd December) and it was a snow day too. But one thing I knew is that he lived a great life with me, he was a loving soppy little thing.
I still have five more guinea pigs now, two of which are twins from our other two new ones haha. Still, hope you're doing fine now <3
Our sweet Sophie died last night. She was sick for 3 days. Each night after work I would play the softest songs to her off of youtube. I know she felt loved. We burried her under our angel statue in our front yard. Rest in peace, Sophie.

I'm so sorry, When my baby boy, Rootbeer died, I cried for 4 hours and didn't eat for three days. But, I realized that Rootbeer wouldn't want me to be miserable forever, I hope you find comfort knowing your piggy is in peace. She was a beautiful pig.
I think maybe you should've got another guinea pig with Rootbeer. They can starve themselves to death if they get taken away from their pack of guinea pigs :(
@RoseChiko Oh no, Rootbeer had a girlfriend, Sassy, and three kids, Gingerale, Dr.Pepper and Frodo. (after the babies we had boys only and girls only cages) He had his two sons to play with all the time.
It's always sad when you lose a loved pet. But hey , she died of old age in a warm and loving home. She knew she was loved. That kind of thing sticks to a soul when it passes into it's next life. Bless you.

Something was wrong with Kirby. He wasn't breathing right. Sneezing, coughing. Not eating or drinking. We took him to the vet @ 11:30 pm that night. We were there until 2:00am. My mom's phone rang. It was the vet. Kirby stopped breathing. He had pheunemonia. I still love you and I Always will. R.I.P baby<3
When I was 10, my mom suprised me by getting me the CUTEST guinea pig ever. He looked EXACTLY like Hurley from G-Force, so I named him "Hurley" He was so calm and sweet. He let me hold him like a little baby. My whole entire family loved him. Even my aunt who hated "rodents", before she met Hurley. He was my best friend & Still is. He died on September 20th, 2010. He was one year old. We don't know how he died. I will always love him. We all, will always love him. Rest In Peace my love, Hurley<3

when I was 4 or 5 I lost 2 guinea pigs we kept them in our cubbie house and it was summer my dad closed the windows and they died from the heat my dad didn't know so it is ok I was so sad I still am but we have 2 more now but we keep them outside of course

one of my four guinea pigs died because no matter how much food he ate he always was skinny he had a brother i still have the brother his name is Smorz his brother was Snuggles Smorz is really sad. i almost cryed to death!

My guinnea pig died of old age too. I couldnt stop crying, but we got a cross and burried him and planted flowers on his grave.

when I was 4 or 5 I lost 2 guinea pigs we kept them in our cubbie house and it was summer my dad closed the windows and they died from the heat my dad didn't know so it is ok I was so sad I still am but we have 2 more now but we keep them outside of course

I have sympathy for you =( My baby guinea pig called chloe (Its to do with peppa pig... yes the one called peppa is still alive = D ) DIed whilst we went out shopping, She had an unknown heart defect... Peppa was screaming at the other side of the cage as chloe was curled up in a ball on the other side.... We now have an extreamly fluffy and cute guinea pig called..... FLUFFY!!!! R.I.P Chloe and your guinea pig!
