I heard this piece for the first time when I was in art school.24 paintings and over 100 studies later, it's probably the single most influential piece of music that has ever found it's way into my art. Simply amazing.

I read about Ornette Coleman by writer Fred Kaplan and listened for the 1st time tonight. I am not sure that I HEARD it, but I would listen again.
