are you guys saying that pedrosa and lorenzo are seriously going to challenge all season long for the championship. they were great in 250cc. however pedrosa will never win a head to head because he cant win on the brakes, only on slightly tighter lines. also lorenzo is to throttle happy and you will see many more highsides from this guy and unless he switches to bridgestone he wont contend.

To start with i never liked Rossi, second my girlfriend is his fan nº 1 so that doesn't help. 3rd, Rossi has pushed into retirement atleast 3 riders i liked 1 Kenny Jr, 2 Max (ok with me),3 sete (This one was in dirty style) and now he will try with stoner.

again the competition was not the same when rossi came to GP500 as it is now, his biggest challenge was Kenny(in wet tracks) max...pfff...barros...and last sete.

Is that the same as Rossi, pedrosa, lorenzo...I think not.

Yes i remember Pedrosa winning that year...I also remember stoner as the runner up with a way not as good bike and with out a super manager that nearly feeds pedro his own food.

and i do remember stoner and pedro not letting lorenzo win not even 1 race while they where in 250.

rossi is making you not like motogp.  so im assuming you like someone going out in front and running hotlaps never battling with anyone. and you dont like someone who outbrakes and stuffs people up the inside, shadows peoples lines until he overtakes them, and goes around the outside on turn 3 at laguna seca which is almost impossible. watching that man race is the only thing still great about the sport. i take it you didnt watch moto grand prix in the days of shwantz and rainey and doohan.

The only things I like from Rossi are his driving skills...not the way he puts them on the line...Ok with turn 3 of laguna seca not letting stoner trough, outstanding if you wish...But I will never understand why people say : Rossi drives like the old Rainey-Schwantz-Doohan days when it's got nothing to do with that style.

Plus I did kinda follow GP500 back then but i was very young, the first real memories come from 1991 in Catalunya Circuit, i was only 8 years old but Doohan got F....d by Rainey on the last lap and came in second after him.

I'm not showing of, anyone can wikipedia Motogp and tell you the same story but this is a fact that my mother (she took me to the races) and I will allways remember.

a japanese bike never sells higher than any italian bike,even though its an exotic one.although im a yamaha fan, i dont think a 990cc yamaha m1 will cost more than 990cc D16.special parts are not included on a D16,it still is a wet sump vehicle, dont have carbon discs not like the real motogp D16.so i think it will be the same as compared to yamaha,and besides, m1's are not for sale.wishful thinking for yamaha fans that it will be a production bike

Nop!! The cost is around USD$2.5m. Inclusive the cost of multi skill manpower who setup the bike! M1 is a prototype bike and never try to compare with R6 or any existing on-road motorbikes!!

The rule of MotoGp's bikes is simple..the manufacturer will make a motorbike which is quicker/faster in a lap without endangering/risk the driver's life! The combination of bike and tyres makes it perfect and safe to drive.

Well the Desmo is a monster of a machine and it a lot bigger than the M1. The M1 is much much more agile and able to take the turns a lot easier than the Desmo.
