i wouldn't go so far as to say that this law is blatantly unconstitutional under the current supreme court. that's a bold statement my friend. what this legislation shows though, that a reversal of roe v wade will not mean that states will not be a wide wave of banning abortions even in western conservative states.
I don't think he's specifically trying to use that as an argument for why the law is bad... but it's true. Right now if this law were passed it would be unconstitutional because we HAVE Roe. vs. Wade and this law is in direct contradiction to that. But that's the point. They want to put this law through so someone will challenge it and they can take it up to the Supreme Court and see if they can overturn Roe vs. Wade. So it is purposely unconstitutional.

so get over yourselfs, your not heros for diagreeing, and even if it is against your religion to abort, there is a separation of church and state, because there are many religons here, so YOU can go ahead and not abort, you cant force others to abide by your religon

the law is based on the fact that an aborted baby is a human being, therefore making it a murder. So in the case of rape (god forbid) is that baby not a human? Does it make it any less of a murder because of what the criminal adult did? Does an innocent baby have to pay a penalty of death for a criminal's crime? Please vote yes for 6
It's interesting to hear the effect that this bill is having. Some things I don't understand: Why is there so much talk about "belief" when it comes to when life begins? Science demonstrated long ago that life begins at conception - it is not an issue for belief.

And even if you claim that you never masturbate and you ONLY have sex to conceive a child then what about the millions of sperm that don't make it to the egg. That's murder to you? And every period a woman has?

So what is YOUR point? Are you arguing that pro-lifers are idiots because what they're arguing should kinda also encompass that the sperm and egg is life too?
