im buying one for 2500$ no rust whit Mags whit a spare turbo .. im thinking about putting in an apexi and oversize the injector and boost the turbo to 15-16 psi.. should get about 200-230 hp .. would cost me like 500$
@Yodler188 i wouldnt turbo the sohc engine i would find a mercury capri turbo engine, same as the 323 turbo, but the capri engine has a thicker crank snout and wont snap off like the factory 323 engines do i have one and i have mine at 24psi with a stock turbo,but i wouldnt reccomend that to someone that doesnt know much about turbo cars. it gets hot fast i need a bigger turbo lol but im gettin ready to swap it into a 86 323i the capri has broke down long ago (cant keep a trans in it lol)
Very nice, convincing me to buy the one i got offered. Its a '88 also, mint engine and tranny, body needs work, needs coils and strut support redone, but asking 400$, think i should buy it? Oh but its the 4 door
