Lat Pulldown is not a power machine, I guess.Hence I always use 1 plate less, and do more reps. This seems better, because for a heavier weight, pressure comes on my arms, and less on my back. But will doing more reps @ smaller weights help to increase my power??
Ideally inhale on pull phase ....plus cervical extension is coupled with hyperlordosis of the lumbar spine (lovett reactor) In other words you shouldn't look up unless you want to eventually live with pain
i see some people pull down but they move it down so it touches the back of their neck is that wrong cos i tried it out and it didnt feel right to me please let me know thank you. i usually do it the way you have shown.
@Saamrth Yea as this is a pulling exercise it puts strain on your arms so your bound to feel strain on your arms your lats should hurt the day after make sure you've got form and weight right and your forms correct i had trouble getting my form right to get the most out of this exercise
