@ThePg45 glad you liked it. I actually think the second one might be funnier--just about pissed myself. The thing about the first one, is that there's something really lovable about the monster in that movie, & it did a great job at generating sympathy for his relationship with the blind girl. The second one, he was just a lovable idiot, & his girlfriend became a human barbie-doll.

@ThePg45 Ever played the Earth Worm Jim videogames? I think that the transition between the first & second pretty much mirrors what happened between the first & second movies. The first one was really funny, but also had a cool side you could still sympathize with (actually, it used the same Classical piece as the first TA movie). The second one was purely silly, but no less brilliant. It's not fair to call one better, b/c they both succeed at doing very different things...

Me and My friend were stoned, and we saw this on G4, and we were both like WTF!! This shit is so stupid it's funny. The fight scene, was hilarious, Toxic Avenger was taking fish items and using them as weapons, he took a saw fish and started sawing a dude up!!! Hahaha FTW!!

That's because they had shot so much footage and made so much movie that it would have been WAY TOO LONG for a single film time wise. so they released both part 2 and 3 as a a double feature of sorts

gosh! I remember watching this movie when I was a kid.. I just can't forget the scenes where he turned the Japanese' nose into a fish shape.. haha and when he squeezed a man in the wheelchair having all his guts to come out.. and the part when the Fake Japanese Father got all chopped out and had his head displayed on the meat shop.. haha.. too bad I can't watch this anymore.. They no longer sell VHS players.. And got to think of it, movies before are so violent.. Toxic Avenger is so effin cool!!

sorta man. the first one just has more of an "authentic feel to it". there alot of differences. it's certainly not even half as good as the first one, but there are some good moments and i did enjoy it. although, there were some moments were i thought sucked but it's still alright. watch it a second time man, and try not to compare it to the first one because that's impossible lol.

@CHIHUAHUAconda i don't agree. For me it was the beginning of the movie that really pissed me off b/c there was so much discontinuity from the first. The voice wasn't the same. The face wasn't the same. The girlfriend's name was different, & she was turned into a barbie-doll, & even the mother wasn't the same! But as I kept watching it, I warmed up to accept the movie on its own terms--not my own--and came to enjoy it a lot. Some side-splitting humor here!
