i agree with jumpinfrontofcars, or at least for the most part. If any tablature at all, i'd like to see the end hammer-ons that start at 2:25 tabbed. Thats the only part i can't lfigure out by ear/eye :P I guess i could if i had more patience, but sadly, i do not XD

@TallonIV776V Not all songs are tuned down. Some are tuned up. We had to pick a consistent tuning to play the songs live, since they are all over the place. So we recorded them like that as well.

Not sure. It's dropped tuning - not sure if it's D or C#, but it's one of them. I use no effects in this and use a Peavey Deltablues amp with an SM57 mic.

Expensive though, right? I've been thinking about buying an electric guitar soon; I'm just starting to learn. I've been teaching myself on my dad's old acoustic guitar, which has been nice, but I would really like an electric to play more styles with. I'm not sure what a good starter guitar would be though; I don't really want to spend much more than 300 dollars when I can't guarantee I'll ever be any good, but do cheaper guitars all sound like crap?

Yeah, Carvins are a little on the expensive side, but they're actually very cheap for their quality. Stemage probably paid around a thousand for his.

Go on Sam Ash or Guitar Center's sites and look up the Epiphone SG or Epiphone Les Paul guitar/amp combo for $200. It's the cheapest deal you'll be able to find. Won't be particularly good, but if money's an issue it'll get you started.

There's also a $200 Squier Stratocaster deal, but I'd stay the hell away from that. They're just bad guitars.

Thanks! I've looked around a bit on the Guitar Center site before and I like how the Epiphone Les Paul looks, although it comes in a couple of different versions I think and I'm not sure which one I would get. I've heard that generally it's a bad idea to get combos because everything there will be low quality. I don't necessarily want to find a guitar for dirt cheap; I'm willing to spend a bit extra if it makes a big difference in quality, but I don't want to waste money on something too good.

It's true that quality won't be very high. If money isn't an issue, I'd suggest going to guitar center yourself and trying as many guitars as you can (including the epiphone you're thinking of) and amps and see what you like and what's comfortable. You're not completely new to the instrument so you should trust your judgement (or bring a friend who knows his stuff).
